Got a call from Shawn Butterbaugh, MO. he wanted to let me know about his Turk x Maw Bell pup. He took her for a walk the other evening and she treed a possum and did it right, good hard chop on tree, not bad for 4 1/2 mos old. Shawn keep her in the woods two or three times a week and keep me informed.............Tim

We have tried to get Froggie bred but she is very hard to catch in heat, she does not swell and only drips for a day or two. We will keep trying because we also feel Turk and Froggie would produce the "RIGHT KIND"!..........Tim

Bill Kaeneal called to tell me about his young female from Turk x Crystal, she was picked up last year at the Bunkhouse Hunt as a weaned puppy,. Bill says that she started quick and is making a very nice hound, he has been hunting her by herself this season and treeing coon every night. He says she is TUFF! He plans on bringing her to the Bunkhouse.

Crystal was a littermate to Noodles, Smokes mother. I was hopeing to get the same results, from all reports it is another good cross that we should be hearing more about this Spring.................Tim
