It was good to see all of the Deer Creek Cartel last night. But it is a shame that no one got their picture taken. Jared, Atwell, Marissa and I had an after hunt hunt and didn't get in until 4 am.

Two Redbones hunted last night. Jared hunted Bolt and I hunted Lil Reba. We both got beat. Jared said Bolt split once but couldn't find his coon. I got beat by 25 in a heartbreaker.

Had a good time at the Breeders showcase this weekend. We had a couple of Deer Creek dogs do some good. Tyler and Peanut got into the final 4 of the 1year olds on Thursday. He also had High Score of the Night. Richard and Boone got into the final four of the open on Saturday. Good job guys!!

Oh my goodness, some real dog trading has taken place in the last week. How does H/L's Big Time Bolt sound? Or how about L/H/A's In It To Win It Reba II? And now for the biggie... Jared and his dad bought back part interest in Boone. (But don't tell his dad. I don't think that he knows.) Before long Jared Shabel is going to have a monopoly on Redbone winners.

Don't you just love it when a 13 mos old pup is sitting in there deep and all alone under a coon. Keep it up. We may have a new "pup whisperer". I am supposed to be back up there Fri night. Maybe I can come up Thursday night and check him out.
