A LOOK BACK AT JACK PUPS IN 2013 !
2013 has been another successful year for Jack pups. Mike Dunn and myself would like to THANK all those that own, handle, hunt a pup or young hound out of Jack and too those that have bred to Jack. You folks are a big part of Jack's success as a Stud. We THANK YOU for keeping us updated on Jack pups with your pictures, videos and calls. The updates are very much appreciated and are very helpful in determining future crosses on Jack and help promote Jack as being a worthy Stud to the top blue females out there. To those that continue to hunt, handle, own and promote pups out of Jack we want to offer our best wishes for your 2014 to a very successful, enjoyable and a happy NEW YEAR with your hounds. I fully expect 2014 to be filled with new stories and pictures of successful pups and young hounds out of Jack. I look forward to posting those pictures and stories here on this thread to help serve as a continuing reference in Jack's reproduction abilities.
Jack is getting older(9 in Nov.of 2014), we have only been breeding Jack for the last couple years, However Jack was bred a couple times before that. Jack has several non titled dogs in his pedigree. Jack is a NiteCh with wins towards Grand. My point to this descripition of Jack is this: Jack is being offered at STUD because he REPRODUCES, not because of his pedigree, not because of a title. He's not some young dog we just started breeding for the heck of it. We weren't really looking to get into the "STUD DOG BUSINESS", Jack put us here. Jack proved to Mike and Myself he was a REPRODUCER, and Jack proved that to us, not by winning some big hunt or having a bigtime all grand pedigree, or having a GRNTCH title, believe it or not Jack proved he was a REPRODUCER WITH HIS PUPS. If Jack was not a REPRODUCER he would not be at STUD or PROMOTED and I would not be wasting my time on a dog I don't own. Most folks will tell you in breeding there is NO guarentee in breeding, not knowing if it will be a successful cross or not. I would have to agree, However Jack has proven too many times to me now that he is worth taking a chance on.When I breed a female to Jack I have the confidence it will make a nice litter of pups that will turn out. This is one of the reasons I PAY to PKC Super Stakes Certify and PAY the UKC Performance on every pup I raise out of Jack. I do it with the confidence that if Jack pups are given a chance they will make hounds that will benefit from these programs. Mike Dunn (owner of Jack) is good about keeping your female for a week or so if needed in helping to insure your female gets the best chances of getting bred. You also get our support in helping you with PKC and UKC registration paperwork on the pups if needed. You will have our assiatance in helping you sell/place and promote your pups if you want the help. Your success is Our success. If you have a fine female you are considering breeding in 2014, HARPETH RIVER BLUE JACK would be one to definatley consider. CALL US. You can give Mike or Me a call anytime, we would be glad to talk with you, or you can PM or Text me, once again, I'd be glad to help anyway I can. DON'T GO THROUGH 2014 WITHOUT TRYING A SHOT OF JACK. YOU MAY OR MAY NOT LIKE IT, BUT YOU WON'T KNOW UNTIL YOU TRY IT.
CALL ME ANYTIME, TAKE CARE, HAPPY NEW YEAR
