Well the weather has been real nice the past few nights of coonhunting. Been treeing a few on the outside and some on the inside. Not looking forward to the leaves coming on. Did not hit any hunts this past weekend. The family and I went and broke in our new camper for a couple of nights. So the hounds should be rested and ready to hit the ditches this evening.

Haven't been hunting Mann real regular with having younger dogs to work. Besides the time has given the toenail he ripped off time to heal. Did take him out the other night with a couple other young dogs. Mann just did his thing, split from the pack and had a coon, caught a coon on the ground and treed a layup on the last dump.
Well have a couple females possibly lined up to be breed to Mann in the near future, looking forward to seeing what he will contribute on a couple different bred females. You just never know, time will tell but looking forward to it. Now Mann is here outside Slater, Mo. for inspection. Anyone interested in the bloodlines he has don't hesitate to give me a call. Thanks!

You know Elmo, I doubt I do. We have plans to go camping with it being Memorial weekend. If that falls through, I possibly will slip over that way. I have been trying to catch up on many projects around the farm that just need falt completed. So the weekend hunts have been on the back burner. Hopefully I will be able to squeeze in some hunts this summer. Heck to at least support the local clubs if anything.

Brian Davis thanks for bringing your female over again. Sorry for not making back over your way last Friday to try the stick one more time. Hopefully we hit this one just right and will have some little Wakenda bluetick pups in the future. Appreciate your time. Trying to finish Dixie before she pups. Took her to Fayette Saturday and won my cast with 475. It wasn't good enough, the other cast came in with 500. I cost her -125 or she would have had it. Better luck next time I guess.
