How ripe are the black berries up there? Walked out to the barn last night and had 7 deer and one tom turkey. I need to start carrying my camera every time I make a trip. Can't wait for squirrel season to come in.

Love those black berry cobbers. Rex hate those doors. I have put up about 6 all my life and I don't want to any more. Those garage doors has to many nuts and bolts for me. Haven't got a squirrel dog Rex. I have to get one before the leaves come off.

I'll just never know why some people try to make it so complicated, LOL. I got back from hunting this past winter and there was a coon on the roof of my house eating berries. I about quit feeding up after dark. I stuck my hand down in the dogfood barrel and stroked a possum, elbow knocked a rafter off the shed, still hurts some.

Every time Pete went fishin' with Jr they caught a boat load and Jr had a mighty big boat. It wasn't nothin' for them to bring back 15 to 25 plus cats at a time. He knew where and when to go and didn't need to hijack any bodies honey hole.

no dout Jr. knew how to catch fish and kill them big bucks with a bow..he didn't have to hijack anybody's spots ..I've learned over the years that guys that talk about their fishing and coon hunting spots being hijacked are blithering idiots...LOL...what do ya say,, come on.those guys have to make up excuses why they quit fishing [somebody hijacked my spots]when in reality they just aren't catching any fish..same with the coon hunting...I hunted a spot down by neoga last winter 5 times, treed one to 3 coons every time I was there..right behind where a supposed to be coon hunter lives...no hijacking, city of mattoon owns the ground..could be his dogs cant get them coons treed even on their home ground..10-4..

If someone was hunting on the City of Mattoon's property, they were hunting illegally. There is no hunting allowed on the City of Mattoon's property and anyone caught hunting will be issued tickets.
Ask the Lake Manager if you don't believe me.

If there was any way to prove it, I will bet I have had more and bigger fish in my boat this summer than anyone else on this thread.

I knew Junior Kerans and Coy Stout for what they were.

You guys are nothing but some so called "third generation river rats" who do not know the difference between a blue cat and a channel cat. LOL
