Going out of business.

3 Young Preacher colored Hounds for sale

I have 3 Preacher colored hounds for sale that are ready for the woods. These are 3 of the smartest dogs I've had in the 4 years I've hunted.

Showme Ozark Preacher Faith is 12 months old and is green started. Green started is she has been introduced to coon, ran drags and treed. She has also gone on a few wild hunts and has opened and treed with older dogs. She has also just started to come in heat (dripping on March 9th). She also came in heat at 7 months. You can see her pedigree and pictures by going to my website and searching by her name. You don't have to become a member to do the search. Her mouth is a tenor bawl, not loud, but not soft either.

Showme Ozark Preacher Hope is a littermate sister to Faith. She is also green started like Faith, but is a little less mature, so I have not started taking her on wild hunts. Has super game drive.

Both Faith and Hope are UKC registered.

Showme Mighty God's Preacher is a 11 month old pup that is 3/4 Mighty Mouse. He is also green started and coon crazy. He is UKC, PKC, and AKC registered and SS. I love him, but all dogs must go.

I'm asking $400 for each female and $500 for the male picked up here. Please, no haggling with the price because I won't come down. They are worth twice that in my opinion.

You can see a video of them all treeing on my Articles page. Preacher has settled on his treeing since this video and rarely jumps like he shows here.

Randy,
Why dont you just try Coonhunting, have a good hound or two, and not put so much stress on yourself?
The sport is fun, but you have overwhelmed yourself.

Ben your dog is exactly the same coloration ....I think the bottom side of your pedigree has the same breeding as the crow dog which is colored the same way..We had a grand nite gyp double bred like magnums bottom side that was as good a pleasure dog that you could ask for that could win sometimes in competition

I have spoke to Mr. John a few times on the phone. He has always been very helpful and took the time to answer all my questions. I believe him to be a very knowledgable and sincere person. He is a real asset to anyone who is in the business of breeding and hunting treedogs...sonny

Are you still fooling with the Preacher dogs? Are you in Texas? Anybody else in Texas breeding these dogs? Would like to see some Texas dogs in the woods and just to see what they look like.

Preacher Dogs

Is there anyone interested in these type dogs other than me? I am considering owning a preacher colored male that has a line of preacher in him but more importantly more of the old preacher traits than anything I have been able to find. This dog has reproduced the most natural starting pups I have had in a long time.

Ya I'm interested. I used to hunt with dogs out of Ozark Preacher and Blue River Preacher. I hunted a lot with a male dog out of Blue River Preacher named Cub Creek Timex, that was when I lived in Nebraska. I had a male dog out of Timex that had some Buffalo River thunder in him on the bottom. He was the easiest starting coon dog I ever raised. That preacher line could really tree the lay ups. Just had to hunt em. Do you know where there are any for sale?

I am breeding more the traits than the color or the number of times I can get Preacher on the papers. I have a litter of pups now that should be the right kind, that is layup, hunt the woods out, (no straight lineing), extremely smart, good mouths, can be trained easily to come in when called, tree the first coon up type pups. As I raised them for me, I will sell some of them reasonalble.

The dog leading the state in Iowa this year in PKC is Preacher bred and colored. If anyone in interested in breeding to him they can call Jay at 515 577 4340. He is double Sawyers Trump bred.

Granddaughter of old stylish queen

Hello,
I have a line bred granddaughter of the old stylish queen dog. I am looking for a line bred preacher colored male, that is a proven reproducer, to breed her to.

I live in southwestern Utah.
Thanks,
