Rob had a awesome hunt with my young male. Took one 300 yards in what seemed a minute. Lol Got there and the coon was still climbing.

Good evening gang. Low 80's today then we got a bunch of rain.


Wendell - that is only a couple hours from me. Let's get him. Great pics.

I picked my first batch of sweet corn today. Wow is that good.

Heather - Iowa is special to me. That is where I went to buy Buzz.

My hand is getting better. I think I will get the dogs out this weekend.

Whew just got in I am beat corn field hunting last night subdivision hunting to night I say one thing you meet more people and have more colorful conversations sub division hunting than corn field hunt

You need to come down and do some lake subdivision hunting with us. They get real interesting at times.

My night of hunting was about as good. Took couple young boys and young dogs. Never turns out well. Dogs opened up and all the sudden the race was on. Dogs barking every breath. I gave the ole hoop and holler yell to Buster who then turned around and acted like he had some sense. The other two we finally cornered about 2 hours later after driving all over trying to get in front of them. Figured out somewhere along the way I lost my phone. So finally found it. Dogs could not understand why them coons with whitetails never treed. More solo hunting for me.lol

Looks like some fun hunting there. I haven't been rabbit hunting in several years.

Work too hard? LOL.. Not me! I'm a dirty sweaty smelly brush covered mess with bruises on my wrists, bramble scratches and who knows what else! I GOT IT DONE though! Bob and I had massive piles of brush from yesterday and he had to come right in to ice the elbow...poor guy! SO I decided to move the mess today before a visit with my cousin and her husband. I haven't seen them since Richard was a lil boy, definately before my accident which was 97. I figured Bob will be happier if the yard is slightly presentable if we eat outside and grill burgers! The weather is perfect. Not too hot today and all the rain is slipping N S E or WEST of us...lol...
