good afternoon every one ! I hope every one has had a good summer and had fun on all their vacations ! I still haven't had one yet ! school will start in a couple of weeks and I am not ready for it !! I always miss Christian when he goes back to school . I love it when he comes to work with me and we get to spend time together ! it sure seems like a short summer !!

Been wore out corky setting concrete forms on some big walls the guy I work for is about to work me into submission. other than that the weather has been great for july. turned a coon loose for my red bone put first one ever she tracked it but couldn't figure it out I think by the end of kill season she will be going strong though. hows everything going all you alls way. hope every one has had a good summer. I am ready for fall and the time change so I can get more hours on these hounds during the week. have a good one.

Nice to see you on here Shannon! I used to feel the same way about summer and the kids and school... now they are all too OLD..... lol... Enjoy the rest of it...despite the heat!
NICE day here, cooler and dry. Got a lil bit of planting in the gardens but after a LAZY morning so not for a long time. LOL... Bob went and got some more rocks...but not many cause a friend and family member of the Big Apple Farm went up to talk to him while he worked... so the chatted as much as moved rocks. We had salad(store bought) covered with our own maters... YUM! And picked our first cuke... Will have to taste tomorrow(I don't like it on salad)...
Nothing else here to tell... I'm tired as can be for some reason and LAZY... I guess cause the physical work is slow on the gardens and the mental(planning) work is NOT done. That tires me so....... Poor Brain.......... lol.....

Grandbaby had a blast at the beach

hope all is well...Corky my garden hasnt produced to well this year had several varmits help in harvesting some of it but they paid the ultimate price eventually... come home from vacation to find out the deer had worked on my beans pretty bad, been having some cool nights which makes things nice, going to have to get me a prospect in the pen to work on soon
James I will take my youngest with my Dad later next week to the bay for some crocker fishing so we will see how that goes, if they are in there good i usually end up baiting the hook and getting fish off the line, one year they were so plentiful I cut one of Brooke's hooks off so she couldnt catch but one at a time, she had about ran me out of bait...LOL

Well had a fellow stop by for breakfast this morning got up got ready to go to work went and let Titus and Rat out the basement door for a potty break came back upstairs we keep the cat food on the back porch in a 25 gallon barrel heard it turn over which Titus often does he is a 100 pound teddy bear who thinks he is a cat or a lap dog the all cats all sleep with him except for Grease but she is a different cat anyway I went out the kitchen door to fuse at Titus and there layed ole blackie eating the cat food I am not sure who was more suprised but before either of us could move the 13 pound Rat flew in to him like a buzz saw well that's one way to jump start the morning

Prayers to all in need!

Garden is going along nicely. THe weather has been wonderful...COOL at night and nice in day... today a bit warmer I think. I had an appt this morn. so I'm all showered and clean and... being good and not going out to work and sweat up.... If Bob feels up to it we'll probably go pick up a load of fieldstones tonight though.
My new hummingbird feeder has us useless here... keep watching for this cute lil male there. I jave attempted pix but my cam Stinks for distance... does GREAT close ups...lol... no help there! OH THE IRONY! he was JUST there again! Whan I got up to grab the cam I knocked over my bowl and fork making a big clatter! LOL... I'm doomed! Bob is just happy he SAW the lil dude! Lots of butterflies and bees etc poolinating all the flowers and local crops. Not many honey bees this yr though....
Nice pix! CUTE lil bear cub! OUCH!!!! and I can't believe you guys got pix of me and Bob in West VA! lollllllll
