I'm here, Corky. Thursdays are my busy mornings....my guys like to get paid on Friday, so I have to get their time in! LOL!


Not too bad here this am...we missed the ice.

I have been invited to a new church for a Christmas dinner on Friday night! I have been invited several times, and was just too scared to go. My friend Keith said he would go with me, so I guess I have no more excuses! I'm really looking forward to meeting new people.

WELL... it is warmer here today... started cool... I think it was 9 when the coons came and devoured all the marshmellows... and then the poor skunk got none! LOL... He was too late... the early critter gets the worm OR in this case...SUGAR! It was 17 when I was out feeding. THEN the dawg dragged me out for a walk around noonish... By the end I was striping off neck gaitor and mittens and unzipping the coat! Sun is shining... aftn chores will be bearable.
I have to go to a boyscout meeting tonight..I'm dreading it. I HATE to drive at night...although I know the way at least! It's right across from my PT. I'm HOPING that I will be able to finally finish Moby Dick. I have read the book hundreds of times pre head injury...it was my fav. book. I started reading it post headinjury...about five yrs ago now! It is HARD! lol... I have so few pages left..so I'm bringing it and a dictionary to the meeting... Our son Dylan is going to try to get approval for his eagle project...and Bob would normally go... but HE has to go to our son Brandons film screening at college... Go Figure!
Well.... enough whining... It just means I have to care about my clothing and hair tonight! LOL... I feel more like ME in barn clothes or hunting gear...
STAY WARM everyone! and NO it is NOT my fault it's snowing down your way! I prayed that it would WARM up there for you all! It is FROSTY's fault! And all those woodland creatures who wanted a SNOWMAN on that cute Video card! LOL...

Thanks for the prayers for the family of the funeral I attended yesterday. She was the wife of a preacher we had years ago. She had had altimzers (sp) for a couple years now.

We didnt get any weather last night, 41 at 7:30 when I got home and 52 this morning at daylight. Cloudy and feels like rain but none yet and not even got a real good chance according to the weatherman. Johnny is 70 or so mile NW of me so I dont think he got any bad weather.

Brrrrrrrrr.... nuther chilly start! Went out for a quick walk (jog and poo) with Web in the frosty grass and came back in. He has been a PILL! Visited with kitty but he's still been In and Out... one of those days.... lol...I just MADE him go potty and brought him back in..I am now putting him on IGNORE, even if he whines again.. I KNOW he wont pee the carpet!
Corky, I think I forgot to say nice Pix? and NICE TREE!!!
Cleo... I ended up NOT going into the scout meeting! Dylan said the men act like JERKS to the new mothers that come in! LOL... I am NOT the kind of mother who takes kindly to that SO... I decided to stay in the truck and read Moby Dick. I ALMOST finished it when Dyl came out...LOL... He got approval for his eagle project! WOOooHOooo! I finished Moby Dick at home FINALLY! THen I read the ending aloud to Bob who couldn't Quite recall the end... and he decided it really WAS some of the best literature.... Bob said that our other son's film screening was great and that his project (with some other students) was really good. Yay!
I'm still fighting this cold...and going to a birthday party tonight for a good friend. I'll be a zombie all weekend! More than normal!
Haven't been to the cams yet... no clue waht was moving last night BUT... I think the coon stayed in a warm den since there were a few marshmellows left(much to Webster's delite!) Waiting till it warms more to go feed.
I'm already sick of WINTER! LOL....

BOND... can't wait to see PIX of the new little one and praying all goes well!!!!

Johnny, This was the storm my friends from the FL Keys was so excited about... She had a house next to ours and moved to GA... I had my parents send her a snowball at one point(I can't imagine what it cost?) She LOVED getting that snowball. When this storm happened in 73 I got a phone call from her! Heck, I got a letter from her when they got a SNOWDAY with just a wee bit of snow- so the kids could go out to PLAY in the snow!
Memories... Wish I could recall her name... April? and a Latino last name? I recall she had a REAL cute brother or cousin! lol... Oooh... Carrerra April Carrera! I think... Darned Brain!
