Congrats to Christian! You must be very proud Shannon! YAY!!!!
Get that snow pic out of here! LOL... It has been gross hot but.... Hey we're finally having RAIN!!! Yay! So glad we didn't have to go out and water! We worked way too hard! We got SO MUCH done during Bob's vacation! The whole front is done except planting...and setting some walkway stones into the ground...they are laid out though.
RoyMac... will be nice to see your pix!
The garden...lol.. tonight Bob told me to look out and a younger turkey was perched on the side of the raised garden next to his basil...then... as I watched it wandered thru the basil(Bob woulda shot him right away...lol...but then started grazing on the lettuce (no big deal...it's kinda too bitter now...lol)
Supposed to rain a few days and we hope it's nice and steady... and doesn't wash too much away...since some of the plants are not set in place well.... Oh the meal was awesome! The summersquash PERFECT on the grill and the zucc. is always super!!!
OK... wanna see wassup and relax with NO WORK tonight with my AWESOME hubby!

Corky - I was looking around in the garden today and I now have 2 cukes ready, several zucchinis, some peppers and a few tomatoes . Probably pick the cukes tomorrow. I am ready for the sweet corn. There is nothing like it.

Hi Everyone, Prayers to all!

Nice Pix David! Great looking gals and dawgs! Baby pic is the best of course...
Lil bit more rain today on and off...tomorrow supposed to be plenty! I actually had enough dry time this morning to prune some of the baby azaleas we rooted that have actual growth! I didnt do much else that I can think of... other than eatting WAY too much for desert after a nice healthy salad... Go Figure... Bob had made some brownies...and over cooked em for me... but a bit TOO much... and... he was going to make strawberry shortcake and ended up having to get frozen berries... and they werent thawed...so I had this sudden desire for...brownies smothered in strawberries and whipped cream.....and suddenly TWO brownies were in the bowl...lol... so much for losing a couple lbs and lowering the cholesterhol before the next bloodwork! LOL.......

Have a Great Night all! I'll be jogging around the world now to lose the desert...LOL....

Good afternoon everyone.

Nice to have some new people in here. Nice picks and glad to see them young ones in the game.
I even think the littlest one makes up for that holstein she holding.
You have to watch several people on this board.

Looks like everyone is doing well and enjoying the wonderful fruits and veggies. My wife tried her hand at making zuchini bread and so far ti has taken me 5 loaves but I keep telling her she is getting it close.lol

Well the good news is our club got approved by UKC. We have been working hard at getting it up and running. We have two HTX hunts scheduled for the 16 and 23rd of August. Out first show and hunt will be October the 24th bench show at 6:30. Some ideas throughout the fall and summer. I am really excited and I am looking forward to making this work. Hi Everyone! Prayers to ALL, especially those in real need!

Well, tonight we had the strawberry shortcake with blueberries! YUM! Even without fresh fruit it was GOOD! And it followed a HUGE bowl of fresh pesto on pasta.Always enjoy smelling the basil as Bob cuts it to make the pesto... YUM! Also ate the first ripe (Kind of) Cherry tomato...and then gave Bob the other one...not as ripe but it had split so he said to pick it...lol... he never did say how IT was? Mine was tart and good......... Picked a few more zuccs and summersquash for tomorrow...Yum!
We got TONS of rain! All went well with the gardens...nothing washed away despite the gully washers. It was amazing to watch it pool up and then get sucked into the dry ground so FAST! We NEEDED the rain. TOmorrow Bob hopes to ride the Fatboy! TOmorrow I PLAN to try to use the treadmill again... I gained weight over vaca even with all the hard work! OUCH!!
Michael, Awesome on the club being approved! YAY! LOVE your method of approval for the zucc. bread...lol...
David, that pie sounds GOOD! Yum, enjoy that.......
John, it was good...TOO good! LOL... Sounds like you had nice weather!

Hey everyone! Prayers to all!
Today is laundry day... and I'm on schedule so... I started the day with a load of laundry before doing my chores with the cat etc.... WELL... I was a bit slow and decided to sit around for a bit and then... the laundry was ready for dryer...and the machine was SCREAMING! SO.. I called Bob, told him to come right home after work cause I had MOUNDS of laundry... thed I decided to take the machine apart...and I did... SO proud of self for getting Dylan, our TALL son with LONG arms to unplug the dryer...I was wondering why on earth the washing machine turned off too? I cleaned out the dryer inside, got stuff off the wheels that turn the tub...and wondered why on earth the light was on when I opened the door? COOL! It lights up even when unplugged! lol... Got done with my work and realized..IT WAS plugged in! I had Dyl unplug the wrong machine...but I DID not get a shock in there! AND... I FIXED IT! At least for now and got ALL the laundry done! Then I realized the poor cat needed to be fed and "walked" in the addition... so I did that...and laundry...and then Bob got home and went off to get some more plants from his aunt...and I decided to work on walkway stones... and IT was MUGGY out there! My glasses were steaming up and sweat was dripping...but I got my part of the walkway done! Then I planted coral bells and I decided I worked hard enough to skip the treadmill! Good day!
I found some berries the turkeys left me...LOL... Our Blackberries are WAY not ready... we are very behind up north here...but I hate them! The turkeys can have ALL of them! They do NOT get sweet enough for me....
NICE day other than the mugginess. It was DRY and not too hot.
Sam looks GOOD! I ate enought strawberry shortcake for you too...LOL...and had some tonight without the cake! YUM!
John, Hope the surgery make your life WAY better after healing!!!! Get well soon!
