Hello!

Prayers to all!
THanks for the Bday wishes for Mum! Will tell her when I speak to her later on! We had a Wonderful weekend and both did WAY too much pruning! Oh My! We ended the weekend sunday when Bob came back to get me and we pruned the crabapple BEAUTIFULLY I might add! He did great! I'm sore, tired and HAPPY! I was in a state of collapse yesterday eve or I would have come say HI! We planted a few baby azaleas and after thinning some iris for mum.... some how I came home with about 20 to plant in the heat of yesterday...lol... then we had a WONDERFUL dinner with friends! YUM! The hubby has his own version of sweettea! He adds white grape juice and something else... oh, Maple syrup...and it was nice! Light and flavorful... Yum....
Had a check up today and then Bob and I rode the Fatboy from nursery to nursery looking for Wooly Thyme. No success but a GREAT ride! Then we got home a nd Bob called his aunt the florist who ordered 2 flats of it for us... lol... It was worth the ride! In the heat it was so comfy on the bike I could have gone for hours and hours...but Bob wanted to get home and work on the walls and steps. He just now is quitting to water and come into the ac...
Busy busy.... tomorrow we dig up some barberries to bring up north to my sister Kate(OUCH!) SHe uses them on her prop. line to keep tourists off her cliff view of the Harbor in Rockport, MA. After we drop them off and visit a bit we'll go see Richard and Elizabeth and Baby Hannah! We can't wait! Nice to have Dyl around to hold down the fort for us to go here there and everywhere.... Oh, the trip to Rockport is not tomorrow...just getting the shrubs out then...lol... then RESTING more and finishing up viewing the slides we need to drop off in Rockport too... we are so close to done..but at night we've been too tired to view slides...lol...
SO... that's all here! I'll be back when I can be.... have a great day, stay COOL and safe and HappyHunting!!!!!!
Heather

MY GRAND PARENTS ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT LIVING IN MICHIGAN AND RELATIVES STILL THERE. WHO KNOWS MAYBE WERE DISTANT COUSINS. I HAVE SEEN THE LAST NAME SPELLED VARIOUS WAYS ALSO.

BY THE WAY JUMP ON THIS SITE ANYTIME. EVERYONE HERE HAS A GOOD TIME. GOOD PEOPLE AND TALK.

EVERYONE HAVE A GOOD DAY.

AFTERNOON EVERYONE.

CORKY,
SOME MINOR DAMAGE, A FEW SMALL LIMBS AND LOTS OF LEAVES DOWN. SOME FAMILIES DOWN THE ROAD FROM US LOST SOME SMALL TREES. MOST LOOK AS IF THEY WERE TWISTED FROM THE MAIN TRUNK 10' ABOVE GROUND.

RANDY,
I AGREE WITH YOU 100 % NO SNOW BUT WOULD LIKE THE LEAVES TO TURN. LOVE THAT TIME OF YEAR.

Hi there!

Prayers to all!

Today not working too hard at all! So far...doing laundry INSIDE! Bob finished up front walk... looks nice! Still one big terraced area to go...stone around dirt that is.... then planting one of these days! WOooHoooo! He just drove to get the Wooly Thyme for the walk! When he gets back we'll do that, get the barberries outta the ground for the trip to their new seashore home...and water... then REST UP for tomorrows visit up there and to see the BABY! I'm trying to get weekend off... so I can do stuff with bob...he doesn't know though... Hoping to find someone to fill in for me at mums!!! Trying hard...... we'll see?????
HAPPY MONTHABIRTHDAY to Randy's grandbaby!
OH, Corky... we had a Bad day here too. Dropping things... like Bob and the SLIDE PROJECTOR...and tray of old slides... that WERE in order and right side up...and he had just made some berry daquiri drinks... with blueberries, mulberries and black raspbierries I picked(not the blues)...and the triple sec he added tasted like poison...lol... So that bummed him out and then the projector went...I swear he LOOKED like he could cry right then... I forget what else went wrong but it musta been the atmosphere? lol..
Please... NO SNOW YET! I like the spring and summer but don't like it TOO hot and muggy like it's been...Blech! Storms around here made some people suffer... Bob's cousin in western MA had a tree down on house...OUCH! I think it is the house he and fiancee are selling...since they are moving into HER house...but not sure... Could have been hers? Hope they didnt' have too much damage though of course......
Hot and dry here but not in the 90s today thank goodness! It will be in the low seventies I think tomorrow on the North Shore! PERFECT to walk and play there with Hannah! PERFECT to sit outside to visit etc! YES!
Well, Have a great day and night, I am pretty sure I will NOT be on the comp. tomorrow... HappyHunting!
Heather

Good evening. Today's high was about 75 had rain off and on.

Corky - the weather here has been crazy. A lot of hot and humid days which is normal for this time of the year but we have also been getting a lot of rain. Usually by this time of year the grass is getting brown, not this year still need mowed at least once a week.

Roy Mac - welcome aboard.

I don't have much wood cut so I prefer that the snow wait for a while.

Have a great evening.

Good evening gang. Nice day today, didn't rain for a change. Sunny and 75 for a high.

I have picked 6 tomatoes and 1 green pepper so far. The sweet corn is starting to tassel.

Wendell - did you borrow an English dog somewhere to tree that coon?? lol

Roy - sounds like you have a lot of good help with your hounds. Good luck with those pups and keep the kids in the woods.

Have a great evening everyone.

Hi All!

Prayers to all!

Rob, Hope your vaca is AWESOME! Wont worry at all, we'll be hoping you have TOO much fun!

RoyMac, Sounds like you have a WONDERFUL family kennel! LOVE to hear your girls are so involved Hope to see some PIX at some point!

Maters lil and green here still. Lots of berries, zukes and almost ready for a summer squash or two.... Basil looking GOOD for Bob's pesto!

Trip to Rockport was amazing! Baby is a total delight. I got to color with her, see how wonderful her parents are, carried her all over Rockport as we went to "Bearskin neck" for dinner and icecream...she delighted the tourists and smiled and waved and got lots of attention...lol... We had a nice visit with my sister and some friends before Richard and Eliz. and the baby arrived. We delivered the shrubs we were giving Kate then we dug up some daylilies and shasta daisies and some coral bells to bring home. WEATHER WAS PERFECT! Lovely sea breeze and warm enough for shortsleeves till it was time to drive home. NICE trip all around. We got espresso beans dipped in choc. at one of the candy stores...and stayed awake for the WHOLE ride home...lol... THen Bob and I camped out back. Again, nice sleep a nd no critters made a peep! Gonna aim for at least an owl out there tonight. Supposed to get down to the fifties too...NICE! Bob does n't know it yet, I'll surprise him in the morning but...I took the weekend off from Mums and plan to work on the land scape with Bob again tomorrow! We were out ALL day today working and had a NICE time. I was careful so not too sore but TIRED! We need to finish up so we can plant some stuff in the new areas! Bob is very happy with the progress. He's having fun at band night right now!
Well, I hope to actually get on here again over the weekend for once BUT...if we get too busy, tired and sore I might not get back.......we'll see so I'll just say HAPPY HUNTING to ALL and I'll see ya when I see ya!
Heather

Ladies and gentlemen, hobos and tramps,
Bug-eyed mosquitoes and bowlegged ants!
I'm about to tell you a story I've never heard before,
So pull up a chair and sit on the floor.
Admission is free, so pay at the door.
One fine day, in the middle of the night,
Two dead boys got up to fight.
Back to back, they faced each other,
Drew their swords and shot each other.
A deaf policeman heard the noise,
And saved the lives of the two dead boys.
If you don't believe my lies are true,
Ask the blind man, he saw it too!

Free Ponchos

No joke....and then it started to rain....

In a perfect example of how the best of intents can result in the most unfortunate and unintended consequences, the Chicago White Sox handed out white rain ponchos during Wednesday’s game against the Los Angeles Angels at U.S. Cellular Field to help fans deal with the inclement weather that had descended upon the Windy City.

The scene that developed when a bunch of folks wore white smock-looking garments with pointy hoods was, um, not good, to say the least.

Hi Everyone!

Bob and I worked WAY too hard today and had a BLAST doing it! He was SO surprised I didn't have to go to mums! We were very satisfied with our work out front. I moved TONS of rocks, CAREFULLY, my hands are sore though, hard to type! lol... Nice campout last night again and tonite we will have another! FUN! Tonights dinner burgers and home grown zuccini and the first summer squash of the yr on the grill! NICE! One more day of hard work tomorrow...can't wait!
PRAYERS to ALL!
Funny James.....
Corky, sounds like you ate GREAT!
Talk to y'all later, maybe tomorrow night...depends on how much I do tomorrow.........

HAPPYHUNTING! Heather
