I believe he will be ready for the hunts by spring. In the farming business I am not always able to make to English days but most times I can get away for the weekend. If he keeps progressing the way he has I will try my best to get him there. If he stays independent like he was last night he will be tough in the hunts. He has a super mouth big booming bawl on track and a real loud chop on the tree. He isnt perfect every night be he is to the point where he has more good nights than bad ones. We are getting ready to in just a few and I will try and get a couple good pics of him on the tree tonight to show you. I am getting one of the pups from Jesse and Betty to mess with next year and hope he is as natural as this one.

Rory finally got a couple pictures last night. These are from the first drop by himself. The second drop I was happy as could be. Dumped him with a buddies walker dog and they got over 900 yards and when we got there jasper was about 15 feet away with the coon and the walker missed. It was a beautiful sight and he was chopping the hardest he has yet but my battery was dead so no video from it.

Here is a short video of him too.

Hey I'll get some pics put up soon been busy had a guy give me a year and half old pup he has t had anything done to him so I'm trying to get him started Molly is using her nose alot but I showed her a pelt the other day and she didn't want anything to do with it could care less so I'm going to let her sit awhile longer hope she starts getting alittle more excited bout it but she is still young she tried sniffing it out the other day but seeing it she would just walk away well take care and ill get some pics posted soon talk at you later

Wow thanks for the pics and video always makes the heart feel good when your young dog splits with the meat!! Can't ask for much more then that!! Good job with him keep on cranking!!

Been bad busy here too know what you mean..I wouldn't get real excited bout the hide thing it's not uncommon for these dogs to not even bark at a live cage coon so the hide thing don't supprise me at all I don't do the hide thing and do very little if any of the cage coon thing the reason why is if your pup isn't mentally ready alot of the times a mean coon will actually set them back size of pup don't matter it's there mind that matters some are ready very early some it takes a bit let her tell you when she is ready you will notice when she gets gamey then I mostly just hunt them when they are READY and I never let my young one's fight mean coons in the woods either til they are big enough thats what I figure a tasco is for don't want my pups fighting for there rewards to soon plenty of time for that later prolly a good thing to let her grow up alittle more normally when these pups are READY just put them in the woods if it's there they will roll right on..
