this young pup is six months old! 4th trip to the woods and is owned by Mark Kirkland . he is out of the John and Strikeforce Zeeva cross of Daryl Wylands. ALL THESE PUPS WERE BEAUTIFUL AT 8 WEEKS OLD. glad to hear that this was a cross that Eddie, Greg, and Daryl all could be proud of. thanks again Daryl for the video, and the chat.

Was a great team, John is the hardest going English I ever seen and one of the hardest and loudest tree dog they are out there in any breed. Greg was Just a good old country boy at heart, one of the most honest handers I ever met. I thank God for letting me know him if just for a little while and calling him and Eddie my Friend . Eric your Dad was one of the Best. I Know he was watching over you and John at the world hunt with a Smile on his face. LEAVES IN A DEAD RUN WHICH EVER WAY YOU POINT HIS HEAD. DONT CARE WHAT ANYTHING AROUND HIM IS DOING. VERY QUICK TO GET STRUCK. CAN DRIVE A TRACK. A BLOW DOWN TREE DOG AND TREES THEM COON. I'LL BE BREEDING A FEMALE TO HIM AND YOU GUYS WITH GOOD FEMALES SHOULD CONSIDER BREEDING TO HIM.

I drew him at English Days 2014 in Blufton, IN. and he is all a man needs for a hound. Very independent, hard hunting, quick strike dog, good tree dog, and an above average mouth. I will have a female out of him one day when I get some room. Couldn't find better fellas to deal with than the guys that own him either. Congrats on your winning this year Eric and Greg!

I don't get on here regularly, so I missed that Mr. Greg passed away. It is with a heavy heart that I read that. In my dealings with him he was a super nice guy. On a referral from Ed Bates, I drove from NC to pick up a pup off of the Bad Boy and BB cross that Greg made. From our phone conversations and meeting him in person, he struck me as a straight-shooter and a man who knew what a coondog was supposed to be. The coondog world has a lost a great supporter in Mr. Greg Piatt. Thoughts and prayers for the entire Piatt family.

I've never got the chance to hunt with John.His win record and all the comments about him on here are impressive!Makes me glad I got a pup out of his litter mate sister Sandy Lou.Greg recommended that I get this pup and I took him serious.Eric give me a holler when you want to go for a hunt.
