Roy her is a couple pictures from last nights hunt with Hanna and Riptide. Made two dumps and two trees and seen one. They treed this one on a deep river bank and was a long way down! When Hanna is right she looks good! Hanna deserved a picture last night and even learned some manners along the way! LOL! And less than 7 months old, but then again that is what is expected!

Jet V and Dual Grand Wendy Cross Happening

Just received word from Roy Clifton that Dual Grand Wendy is coming in heat and the process is going to take place. We will be getting the Jet V collection sent to get Wendy breed first thing Tue. morning 9/2/14. Been waiting a good while for this and hope it goes as planned. I don't feel I could find any pups with any better backing than these pups will have. Fingers crossed!!!

Roy took Hanna and Riptide last night on the Anderson River and man we had fun. Hunted about 2.5 hours and made seven trees. We found five of the seven, one den and one who knows. We seen a few others setting up so overall it was a good night. It was another hot one and I'm ready for the cooler weather to roll in. Hanna should rest better today!

That great keep poundin on her. Hannas littermates need some of the same but we would have to hunt three nights in a row to see that many coon. I envey you guys.
Wendy is lookin ready for the trip to Messa Clinic monday.
We still havent decided what to do with Robin.LOL

Hunted with Corey and Gerald Basham from Kentucky tonight. First drop the slammed on about 50 yards and had it. Next dump they ran in a corn field and looked like crap, not a good tack but they tried until we caught them and moved. Next dump was not much better until we were just about ready to go home and Riptide rolled up under three little ones. Went to some good places but was not a good night overall.

Hey guys I droped off Wendy this morning at Messa Animal Clinic wiith Dr Willard. She was starting to flag this morning. They drew blood and she should breed in a day or two. They have the Jet V semen ready and waiting.

Roy the timing is great! Keeping our fingers crossed and hoping for the best! They will be in the hands of coon hunters! Robin is young and Deal is real young so you still have time for that cross! Those young hounds should keep Robin busy this winter!

Roy we took Hanna and Riptide tonight. First dump was on oil creek Hanna got kind of left out, Tide treed on the other side and had it. Second dump she looked real good on a hot track and they had two kittens. Held Riptide back a little so Hanna could get all the tree she wanted. Turn loose one more time and headed them off at the pass and called it night. Not too bad for 7 months, may be a little too hard on her!! Think she is growing any?

Roy called today and let us know that Wendy was breed this morning to Jet V semen. And the vet said everything looked good and her due date should be Nov 11. That day won't come soon enough. Lol

Jerry we are taking a few guys tonight with us to a few places you showed me out by the Anderson River and St. Marks tonight. I don't think that the river being up will hurt to much. Had a good hunt there the other night and seen coons! Will give you a call tomorrow and let you know how the hunt goes, they are bringing some dog power! Never know you may have to get you another Blue PUP!

hope those spots i told you about panned out. also no of one by huffman mill that is a good spot. plenty of coons but not a lot of hunting pressure.. you never no a nice bred, planned ahead, well thought about cross pup, might interest me

Jerry we had a pretty good night. Made three dumps and treed three and treed once in the ground after running 700 plus yards Through a corn field and then to the bank! Took Pockets and Gerald's Smoke dog and guess what, no grinners, deer, fox, yotes or ghost coons tonight, told Gerald it looks like we missed all the fun! Oh and no dog fights, Pockets will only hunt with Angles! LOL!

Jerry we hit the other two spots you got us permission to hunt and made four trees, two coons, one Paw Paw tree which was slick and one tree we could not shine. Was going to make another dump but someone was already treed there so we hit the road. Just took pockets and her foot is looking pretty good and hold up. Larry went along to see Pockets and I don't think he was disappointed. Never did find a darn coon on a Paw Paw tree but they are loaded and just about ready!

Yes there actually was one that was almost identical to him maybe a little darker and he went to a young kid bout 20 min north of me. Hope he turns out half as good as Tide!!! I've got a Girlfriend for Ol Riptide!!!! She should be in bout Jan.

Roy one thing for sure is that she has never seen one coon in a cage hanging and did not take long for her to figure out where they were going. She has only been on one turn out, she is past that point. Just trying to wear her down the hardest thing, she had plenty of heart!
