I will see what this weekend holds. I will try to bring Kane over maybe Sunday if all else fails. I have to get him a few bags he likes to eat that is for sure. He will be 4 month old the 13 th of March so that a good time for him to run and play.

Man I tell you what I would have hit Marshall this past weekend. But we had my sister-in-laws, three kids for the weekend. So you pile our two on top of it and it was a house full. So needless to say I stuck around to help the wife out. I have a bunch of hunts marked on the calendar. I hope as time passes I will be able ot attend quite a few. You chomping at the bit as well I am sure?

Everyone I had Dual Grand Morton's MO River Blue Tuckersd Mann given a check up at the vet clinic . He checked out as healthy as a 5 year old hound should. The doc checked his sperm count just to see if he is shooting with both barrels. The vet said that Mann was at 90% having good live swimmies! So that is a good piece of mind. Folks I am not looking to make a buck off of stud fee's. I am just like the rest of these good hard wokring coon hunters on this board. I am just looking to share some of this hounds traits and abilities with the hound community. Also if I can luck out and possibly snag my 4th generation I would be more than delited If anyone would like information on Mann hound, just give me a call. He is also in both the blue books. Hey SPRING is offically here!

I would like to come for a hunt with Mann.
I think if I like what I see he will be on Sallys list for future improvement. I think very highly of this little girl and when she is ready you will see another Jet 4 X Stormy 2 bred pup hittin the hunts.

Elmo I plan on putting Mann in the RQE if everything goes as planned. If I can swing it I might have Witch in the Friday night open division? Kane is doing well, I told you I would send a picture and I have done it. I will make it a point this evening to snap a couple. My boys work Kane over but Kane sure dishes it back in return. He took a coupel truck rides yesterday and did real well. My boys want me to find a coon tail so they can tie it to a string and have the pup mess with it. So I am on a mission to find a ricky laying on the road so I can oblidge them

Storm99 sounds like the little female has you all worked up about her abilities. That is great, you just keep plugging along with her and she should make a dandy. Just about anytime you would like to hunt with Mann, you just give me a buzz, he is ready anytime. Thanks!

Kane is doing great! He is progressing quite nicely. He has been going on walks in the woods with my boys and I, not scared of water, just a real nice bold pup. A tag would be great Elmo, I have noticed a few ticks on some cure dogs. Haven't had any on my hounds yet, but it is coming. I will be at Marshall Friday and Saturday, he you can find a ride for the tags. Hey good luck this weekend in Indiana give them some "Breathless Blue"!

Thanks Brian, likewise! Your Dixie female is a nice gyp, hopefully we can make the cross between Mann and her work. I really feel their styles will compliment one another. Brian I really like the size and mouth of your Scar/Dixie female. Maybe a little more fire under her and she will be well on her way

Well dog gone it! I was all pumped up about taking Mann to the RQE in Marshall Saturday night! I got home from the Friday night hunt in Marshall and decided to take Mann for a drop. He did a bang up job on the first drop, had two Ricky's in a huge oak out in the middle of a pasture...pretty cool setting! However I got to watching Mann and noticed he was favoring a paw. After further inspection he had ripped a nail completly off back to the edge of his paw, only the quick(SP?) showing "ouch"! Now I am sure Mann wouldn't have let the injury slow him down, but I didn't see any need to make him either. So I stayed home and took my two boys fishing in our pond I hope the club had enough guides, as I felt bad about not attending. But when your boys are begging to go fishing what does a daddy tell them!
Had a good hunt Friday night entering my Witch female in her first hunt. We ended up scoring 400+ /125-. I lost it for her, the three hounds were having a rough time on a track and they came down on a tree that I thought she was going to stick. I was trying to play a little catch up and just flat pulled the tree trigger to fast. They ended up treeing a coon on that turn out, Witch had a first and first which would have given her 525+ to finsh 25 ahead of Terry Payne's blue male, Rat. But Terry did the right thing in keeping his mouth shut and was able to walk away with another first on his male...good job!
