heard that on the Plenty warm driver...these are off a nectarine tree [cross between a apricot and a plumb.... 9 generations and all you know.come on, what do ya say..its grand champion too....]..makes some great early summer jelly ..peaches in a month or so..we have kinda missed connecting the last couple times TD ,but when we do don't let me forget to send a couple jars of jelly home with you......like Beasley dad says..plumb jelly on toast, on a cold winter morning, looking out the window watching it snow like hell is pretty good eating......

You may need to video tape that tree for 10 years later show--come on. Don't know that I ever eat any of that kind but I like apricot and plums so it may not be to bad--- bet it would go real good with some of Opal's home made bread.

the deer and the squirrels are eating them off the top..where we planted [2 ...2 acre patches] it will be wet.. it would take a month to get in there to harrow them now...but we will hope that some were still covered ,so they may not get eat'en ..if not we will put sugar beets and red top turnips back in those spots..sugar beets and turnips are a late season food for deer ..beans would have been better.....looks like more rain around the area...I don't need anymore for awhile..if its cooler tomorrow ,I'am going fishing.....

Did you get them north or south of your place? When we were in town helpin' the youngster, across the road in his neighbor's yard there was a doe eatin' grass. Didn't get too excited about the crowd, his neighbor next door said he see's 'em quite a bit behind his and the boys house.

Rex you hitting known holes or what? The wife and I hit the lake alot last year early on and tore up the drum, bass and bluegill. I put her on some half decent cats last year in a farm pond. Our fishing has been limited to the spillway here in shelbyville and thats about it. The new youngin keeps us from treking to alot of the spots off in the timber.

This is what I put the wife on last summer and she was in hog heaven... we caught about 9 like this and 10 or so half this size.

TD, I just went down below here ,I put on at the ramp below the spillway...I wanted to go north towards airtight but I got a late start..we had a big brush pile to burn in one of the food plots ..so I didn't get on the river till 9:30...ealy stayed and watched the fire....Tec thats a nice channel..today you had to be out were the water was moving pretty fast..in slow water I couldn't hardly get a bite...and gravel bars seemed good ..and the deep sides with structure..sand bars were no good at all peck, peck, peck ..bait stealers on the sand bars...that doe better watch it or she might be on the grill..lol....

Bigtimber wanted me to show you our project for the weekend that kept us from fishing. We were hoping to get done in time to go but didn't make it. Had to help oldest son with windows also pretty much shot the weekend. This was a window in our living room which served no purpose because front porch was built on afterwards so all you saw out window was front porch decided to take out old window while we were replacing all other old windows and make into storage space. Still have to make finishing touchs but didn't turn out to bad. Have also been seeing young fawn up lane. Have seen it about 4 times but never had camera imagine that. Once was in lane picking raspberries and it wasn't 20 feet away maybe will get a photo eventually. Next big project chimney and roof. Bigtimber won't have to do that though. Have a good one! Mrs Bigtimber .
