Yea pretty good. Still does a lot of jumping at the tree and not a lot of barking. He is real loud. I will keep taking him and see what happens.

Some of the jumping and not barking is because he can see the coon. Try a release just at dark, that way when he trees he cant look up and see it. May help!

Dave I found out today I'm going back to willard for a while so my hunting is done for the summer I guess. That makes me think I may as well place to dogs to people that will be able to hunt them. If you know anyone this way that would hunt bubba tell them to give me a call. He has finally cone around and I don't want him to set the next six or seven months. He is no problem around the house and not many dogs will beat him to the woods. I will let someone that is gonna hunt him come get him.

long runs

we havent had alot of snow and no luck with the cats,lol.got afew coon up in the 2 weeeks,they have been some longer runs but ballz seems to be handleing the tracks well ,he is getting louder with his bawls on track I can hear him out to 600+ yards.he is strikeing tracks his great granddaddy ran,lmao,he deffinetly has a cold nose and seems to be able to put a tree at the end and being accurite around 98% of the time coon seen the other 2% are dens.he is fast on track alone,with companyhe kicks in the afterburners. He still has along way to go but he is doing agood job for a young dog

Went out huntin Tues. night with that young female up here. It was 20 degrees and bright. We got turned loose about 8:30 or so. Made the first drop dogs went in about 500 yards and treed together. Went in and they were on a den. Second dump we turned loose they get struck and run away from us. Spike gets treed 567 yards away. As we are walking to him she gets treed. We walk into her tree and she has a coon 157 yards from Spike. We go to him and he has a coon. Make the third dump they get in over 500yrds again and Spike gets treed. He is treed about 10 mins when the pup comes treed. We walk in and they are split 36 yrds apart. She has another coon and he has a den. Called it a night at 10:08. She is coming on real good. Hope to have some video soon.

Went out with the Annie bitch the other night again. It was 20 degrees snowing, and blowing. She treed 2 on the outside and a den. Will have the video up when I get it downloaded off the camera. lol.

dva got one out of grit and my main st roy female will get after a cage coon havent got her to the woods yet to much work not enough time will take 500.oo for her she will make a good one for someone thanks Larry

THe young female finally come in heat. lol. Went out last night for a hunt with Spike and a walker dog with my buddy. We made 8 drops and seen 7 coons. The rut is on good and them ole boars dont like to climb. lol

we got to dam many yots down here cant run the young one afaried they will get eat up ever time you cut loose they start yelpjng tried to call them in to shoot em get one or two the rest take off thining them out a few at a time thanks Larry

Just found out last night that there is a 2 year old male down in Florida. That means we got Grit dogs from as far north as Georgian Bay to as far south as Florida, and from Vermont to Washington. Seems they are doing well all over the country in different hunting environments and hunting styles. Good luck to them all in the summer and spring, look forward to seeing some in the winners circle.
