I have a dumb question, i have a real nice female pup that will make a nice hound if i stay on her and god willing.... I am curious about when shes ready to be bred (if ever) i want to breed her to clint or clint semen, but that would be a ways down the road i am wonderin how to find out if someone has semen off him....? It will be at least two years till i will have her bred. Dnt beat me up too bad guys but i just got back into coonhunting and the only reason i started back is all the good memories i had from my old dog mac(direct off clint) ... Again im green and not even sure it would be a good cross any thoughts or opinions welcome
Ps. She is double hardwood henry bred and is a loud lil girl for eight months

For setting me straight, what maybe the best cross with one of his off springs? My pup is double hardwood henry and i wanna stick with the clint strain... Or would she even cross well?

ann is my dog. chop mouth dog. she has a huge bawl on the ground. she is direct out of clint.

the bawl mouth blanketback dog is kuhn's teflon thurman. he is out of teflon don.

as far as what would cross well on your female i have no idea.

i am considoring a cross between Ann and The Outsider. that would be an aunt to nephew cross.

hunting a dog out of clint currently, came straight from norfleets house. he is a real nice dog and easy to hunt, because he trees fast and with a coon! i will post some pics as soon as i get them on my computer

was hunting Thug for them a while, he was out of Skuna River Bark, now im hunting Rowdy, pretty sure wayne said he was out of clint, if not directly then he is grandsire

I'm from the other corner of rush county. I hunted with john long a few times while he had rowdy.

i thought rowdy was out of luna and some dog named tommy.

rowdy is a nice dog. he can sure get deep in a hurry.

i dont know if you know brandon kuhn. he used to hunt with matt sanders. thurman is his dog.

well he may be out of tommy, wayne talked like he was out of clint or from the same line. i havnt seen his papers, and yes he will get deep fast if nothing is entertaining him up close, i know brandon kuhn and matt sanders, i didnt think matt was still hunting, we seem to know some of the same people...you hunt with Skip ging much? i used to back when i was in high school but not so much these past few years, mainly hunt by myself or with my dad every now and then

i heard that matt went hunting one or twice this kill season. i know he hasnt hunted much the last couple of years.i tried to buy his dog thats out of jesus. i have never hunted with skip. he told me he doesnt pleasure hardly at all. he just pulls rat out of the pen when its time for a big hunt.


i live about a
mile from brandon kuhn's house if you know where he lives. you may know brady clapp too. he wants to get back into coon hunting once his kids are a little older.

yea its kind of a pain gettin skip to leave the house if he cant win any money at a hunt. dont know the brady guy your talking about, where is matt even living now? the house he used to live in is all but fallen down now. have hunted rowdy everynight the past week and tonight was no different, cut loose, he runs about 500 yards then slams treed with a coon, one tree was .67 miles away tho! as long as their coon in the trees and im not getting shot at it aint no thing to me.
