Found near Silver Lake, Indiana

I found a blue tick female coonhound and male beagle behind Kerlin Motor Company at Silver Lake, IN today. Neither one had a collar and have been back there for several days. Both are friendly once I got a hold of them and lead well. They are thin and haven't seen a meal for a few days. I would like to get them back to who ever owns them. I don't have room for them and have them in a stall in the barn. If no one claims them in the next couple of days I will give them away. I will try and get a photo on here tomorrow. It was dark when I got home with them. You can call or text me at 260-901-9350 or email me at oakridgekennel@live.com

Thanks,
Tammy Newlin

Treeing Walker Female

Found Female Treeing Walker between Mt. Morris, PA and Waynesburg, PA. She is a larger female, I'm guessing maybe 50+ lbs. has a big blocky build with a light red and white head. She is open spotted mostly all white and black. She looks to be around a year to 2 1/2 years old judging by the picture I have of her and she is indeed a very good looking hound. I will try to get a picture up on here soon. I do not personally have this dog in my possession but if she belongs to you or someone you know please call me at (304)-203-4942 or message me on here.

Thanks,
Craig Baker

pregnant B&T, Giles County VA

A very pregnant b&t was caught running loose in Giles County, VA. She is very close to whelping. If you think she might be yours, email me or pm and I'll send pix and contact info.
If you can offer her a safe haven while whelping I can put you in touch with the local rescue people who have her.

LOST or STOLEN CH 'PR' Midnight Moon's Hillbilly Jim

Jonathan Christmas went outside to collar Jim up to go hunting, and Jim wasn't there.

Jonathan Christmas lives around HWY 106 in Russellville, KY.

Jim is a large bodied, long eared, dark red hound. He has a good disposition and comes when called. Jim is about 17 months old. Even if you think it is him, call. Jim is DNAed, so if need be this can go to litigation.

If you have ANY information call me at 210-846-4518 -or- send a PM to Podunk23

If you read this and have taken this dog. Call me to return him, and there will be no harm. Just want the dog back. We'll work something out to get him back home at that point.

Thanks for the help guys. Let's get this hound back to his rightful owner.

Here are some pictures of Jim to help you out.

This one is from this summer

Thought of the day

As most of us live in small community's there are some things that baffle me.
We know just about everybody, and gossip travels so fast that the most people know every detail of our everyday life, (ie what time we come home, what we bought at the grocery store, and what we have in our gardens.) But yet when we have a hound go missing right in our back yards it seems that nobody seen, heard it, or seen anybody stop by to get it.
I have probably talked to half dozens people that drive by my house 20 times a day, and can notice if I have parked my truck in a different spot in the yard or notice if I move a dog between houses, but then when it comes to one missing I get the same story from all of them.

"Naw I didn't see him. I didn't even see anybody stop by.

The odd thing is, whatever happens always seems to happen when there ain't nobody home. When both vehicle's leave.
It just kinda seems odd that everybody see's everything unless it is something that needs to be seen.

redbones found in York county, SC

There's a couple of nice redbones in the York County, SC animal shelter. They look relatively young and big-boned. At least one, possibly both, is male. They look well red, although their noses are a little on the light side. If you think they might be yours, call the shelter--their pix are not up yet. You can also pm me with your email. I have pictures.

HERE'S A PIC OF THIS HOUND...SHE IS SO PRETTY!!

She was found before the dust had a chance to clear from the WC....It's been speculated that she may have been lost or just left. If anyone knows this girl, please speak up and help her move forward to either her lost owners or a new home...If she was left, we shouldn't keep our mouths shut...We don't need that kind of message being sent out to folks that already don't understand the life style...We need to start speaking up and helping out. The non believers and outsiders already think we are all barbaric and live in the stone age. We need to show them that we are not ALL like that...

Thanks for reading
