I hope everyone is having a wonderful day as God has given you another day. Are you struggling with life, finances, family trouble, sickness, etc. You know you don't have to claim the fears and worries for yourself. Christ tells us in Matthew

Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Isn't it wonderful that he is here for us and all we have to do is to ask him and he will take all our burdens from us. I've been reading in the word and have yet to find in the Bible one place where he the Lord asks us to do anything by ourselfs. You see he is with all us no matter what. I have something that I have to share with people who read this board. My church has been saving for awhile to buy a bus for the church to use during functions for the yourth and our senior saints program and various other activities. Well we had saved somewhere around 10k but a large bus is very expensive. Sunday morning the preacher informed the church that he recieved a call previous week and someone had dontaed a brand new 29 passenger customized bus from champion to the church. Now I don't know about the rest of you but I am here to testify that when you are doing the lord's work and get on his schedule that God he will bless you more than anyone deserves. I just give all the praise and glory to God as I know that he made this happen. Thanks and God Bless.

I had to purchase a work car this week to drive back and forth to work because my wife decided to take the other one deer hunting (total lost). Well that got me to thinking this week about things here on earth and how easily they are gone or destroyed. Jesus tells us the following

Mat 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

Mat 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Pay close attention to the last verse. Do not fall in love with materialistic things of this world for they shall pass away with time. The things that are waiting in heaven is unimagineable to me, but they are not impossible with the God that I serve. Remember to take your family to church tomorrow and see what a difference it will make in your life if you accept Christ as your saviour. Everyone have a wonderful weekend and God Bless.

Ron, In my opinion, you are absolutely correct. I have worked at every level, from entry level at age 18 to about every management position. to operating my own inventory service for 15 years. Started a hobby of vending "FRESH SQUEEZED LEMONADE" at festivals and community cellebrations 14 years ago. This "hobby" turned into a business as well. Never had a "boring" job nor but one boss that I didn't like. I have always liked to work and sometimes it even seems like recreation to me and my wife (54 years). We've worked together for about 25 years now .

Our last event is this week end and we'll be somewhat idle til April, but we begin anticipation of the next year early next week.

Thank God for our health, I'm 73, she's 69. Do the math, we were young'uns,LOL
