Prayers to all!

Took it easy at Mums for once. Got stuff done but nothing too tuff! We had an interview with a man writing a blog about an area of state land that encompasses what WAS our land till it was taken by eminant domain. Mum mentioned to him we had slides of early publice use of the land, my family working there etc... SO... Big box of slides came home with me with projector. Bob and I will have a BLAST! Mind you my family is obsessive..not just me...SO, at mum's house there are hundreds of boxes of thousands of slides but I grabbed some titled "Pitcairn" and then I found a treasure trove... I found a box labeled..."Heather in LIpstick" and I Looked and OMGoodness! LOL... That is where Bob and I will start tonight! My sister "dolled me up" and man do I make the grumpiest pace EVER! LMBO!!!! Can't wait to see big. We have a scanner thing we haven't tried yet to convert slides and negatives to digital so we will play with that. I will be BUSY for a while with this project. THe man is a landscape architect, amazing granite artist and birdwatcher. His blog is about the land called "Halibut Point" in ROckport MA. He wanted the history...and he'll get alot! lol... Poor Guy........ IF we succeed figuring how to make the pix digital I will post the grumpy face... it is amazing! lol...
Bob did his fishing trip. THey caught limit of stripers and got home early. Cooked one on the grill last night and it was AWESOME! Lil bit of tomato, basil I think... I forget what else... YUM! He did a little weeding and mowed and took it easy on his back but he is still pretty sore. I feel good. The kink in my back is now gone!

Morning all,
Been a busy week so far. Did get to turn the dogs loose some. Buster still treeing circles with all these leaves on,lol.
Did check feeder and seems they have slowed up on it some. Put camera up to see when they were coming in so hopefully get them there for this youngster.

Looks like everyone had a good time at Clifton Forge wish I could have made it.

HOT today here. Rain tonight and tomorrow. Garden growing, all well and good. YOu'll all be pleased to know I didn't hurt myself badly yesterday... falling off the footstool as I went to sit down...lol.. It's about 8" tall. My ego is badly bruised!

Randy did ya get em good luck he screens his calls Connie is his call screener when she not sitting on the couch eating bon bons or something like that. when she is watching the soaps but if she all dressed up as cat women and Lyndell is dressed up as Batman than all hope is lost especially when there in the escape scene and cat women is all tied up and Batman gets his cape hung in the celling fan

Speaking of which were is James the last I heard from him he was going off to get married are they still honey mooning ?

Hot and humid here too need to be hunting if I did not have to work would go late but these hot nights got the snakes a moving saw one last night not sure what it was short and round usually means a copper head got gone before I could tell Mom had a black snake on her porch today got it than Preston called had a copper head in his garage wanted to know if would come and get it got up under his work bench like to never have got that thing out but don't fret since its illegal in the state of Virginia to kill any snake and being the law abiding citizen I am I relocated them to over to David's

Good morning all,

That pic almost look like coyote with some bag health problems.

Rob,
Happy anniversary, I would say unless you do not want to see 23 years you better take her to a nice dinner.

Hunted Monday night first tree you could not see 15 feet up it due to under brush. Second tree Buster was treeing hard sounded good. Until I got about 10 yards from him and then nothing and came back with his head down. Must have been one of them mangy coons.lol.

Have not seen any snakes this year except for the one's in the basement. But I can not take this heat at nights. Just prefer to sit on the banks in the summer.

Well me and some buddies are setting out on a new adventure. With any luck we will be starting up a new club down in Rocky Mount. Will have a place for water races,field trials and bench shows as well. Got our first meeting Sunday to get everything in order so we can send all the paperwork off. I hope I can keep everyone on the same page as they are now and we should have a good time. Once we get up and going will post some dates up here. Not for sure if we get anything going this year or not. We will see how it goes.

Settin out here on the front porch watching Bob hardscape out here... PERFECT day. First day of Bobs vaca.
Got a wake up call at 6:45 am though... Our son Richards aunt in MI lost her husband to suicide...she has been out of touch with her fam. here...and this is NOT how they wanted to be back in touch with her. Richard doesn't really even know her... sad sad stuff. He basically just ruined her life completely. leaving her alone with a young child...no life insurance of course... Prayers her way please and to all involved....
Got lots we'll be doing over his vaca. I assume I'll still be on here as often...but maybe not so do not worry bout any lapses on my part!
Nice MANGEY mutt there... coyote I suspect? Unless small enough for fox. WAY better off dead for sure....
As for that pic of me...LOL... Bob says I still make that face! lol....
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Mr and Mrs McMillan! Hope it is a Great one! and MANY MANY MORE!
