Boy the hollers on the lake bout killed me last night LOL! Dog got treed a 1/4 mile in and I think I walked 2 dodging the coves to get in to him. He was treed on a big oak that had a hole in the side.

Time from un-snap to pull away in the truck was 2 hours 40 min. Needless to say we made 1 drop and headed for home.

This lack of coon movement is driving me crazy!!!

I remember Hillbilly Mac. never hunted with him but they said he was a coon dog. One of the guys called from the club and said no one showed for the buddy hunt. Glad I didn't burn that gas going over there. Warm up coming and hope no rain with it.

Movin' and up but slooooow. Had a nice turn out last nite at club. Congrats too the new club officers: Larry Emberton Jr. Pres.,Jim Bob Michels V.P., and Jeff Ashmore sec./ treas. LETS everybody support these guys for the up comin' year........ and thank you past officers for your help. With all that said the guys did have some dog power that hunted. Congrats too Mark VavDeventer& the young Pruemer boy for winnin' coon contest. Some nice lookin' hides.

Them bunnies have been a peein' in 'em for cover this winter Been a nice sunny day all day up here Mike. I believe that Spotty don't throw anything away when it comes too hounds. If we ever need any info. we know where too go that's for sure. He said one time the old chicken house was full of Full Cry, American Cooner and Bloodlines.........Did I leave anything out?

Evening everyone. If nothing happens Bill and I are suppose to go tomorrow night. You know 20 years ago I hunted by myself alot. It all ways fun to hunt with other people but I think it does your dog whole lot better to tree the coon by him or her self. Now the wife insist that I have some body with me in case I go down or kill so many coons I can't carry them all out.
