Tim, Most people are not interested in facts or truths. I doubt any light will ever come on. I feel sorry for the Blueticker that does win the world. I guarantee more bad will be said about him and his hound than good by people trying to justify why their hounds could do it too. It's just a sad situation and allot of jealousy that's been instilled in our breed for a long time. It has got to change one hunter at a time. Lance

I think that if a Mad Dog won Autumn Oaks they still would not get any recognition!! When a Bloodline wins National Queen one year then follows it up with National King the next (both dogs from the same sire) and they don't get the recognition they deserve, what do they have to do????????..........Tim

Smoke, I agree. Thanks for the comment.
They are doing something right and it's not by chance. If anyone doubts what I'm saying give Tim a call and ask him questions. It will be worth the time.

There was a reason I chose this bloodline and the results have been good. My Kids wanted to hunt against adults. For that to be successful you can't just get any dog. I spent allot of time several years ago doing research and this line is what I chose. We have had fun. It does require lots of hours and some luck to accomplish our goals. Thanks for letting us be a part. Lance

To continue the success I remind myself I can't spend time worrying about what others might think or do. We just have to continue to DO WHAT WE DO. That has worked so far. We have been blessed for sure.

How many years have mad dog hounds been pushed in the world hunts. I know several have been qualified but how many had the funds behind them to be taken as long as they were winning. We were going to push Jazz last year and see where the chips might fall but she came in heat at Autumn Oaks. It sort of crushed that hard to achieve dream.

Rooster hunted in the World Hunt back in the 80s, Frank Jr qualified 4 times and made to the top 100 twice, John II qualified 3 times and made it to the top 100 twice, Popper made it to the top 100, Ruby and 911 both qualified and came in heat at quarter finals. Any of those dogs with the right break could have gone far into the competition. You need a good dog, a good handler and a lot of breaks to make it all the way. There will be some Mad Dogs at the quarter finals again this year, maybe it's our time now.............Tim
