alright Bond two things

first no way on God's green earth am i pulling for Gordon or Johnson, didnt mind seeing Jr win but would have been better if Harvick wouldnt have blown a tire and won

second is what in the world are you doing taken a perfectly good prospect of a coon dog to a bear event....have you lost your mind???????????????

Oh wait I remember you quit coon hunting and starting going to drags and treeing contest instead of hunting or at least i read that on another post somewhere...LOL

John vacation is over get them pups in the woods it will be kill season soon and my trigger finger is itching!

Good morning all,
Made it back from English days. We had a blast. Justin wanted to hunt Buster in the non sanctioned youth hunt Thursday night. So we went. Not much of a night. Turned dogs loose Buster come back and looked at Justin like what next. Finally got him moving on struck him in and he came back. By that time I was ready to have a nice talk with him. so anyhow nothing happened in the shows.
I hunted Friday night and was ready to have to with draw and speak to my dog if he did not go hunt. First drop there they went. Never seen Buster till he treed. Circle. Dropped again split tree Buster with circle. Drop again split again Buster with the coon only dog treed. Cut him back to other dogs trailer not really for sure he is going to make it the heat is getting to him. Finally he goes on to the tree so end up with a third and third on the tree. Coon seen. We end up winning the cast with 300 plus and no minus. I really think talking all weekend about trying to sell the two females and getting new dogs had him worried.lol Was not enough to place ( I think like 16th in reg) but the best finish and first cast win I have gotten.
Ah and I did bring this little feller home. Maybe that was Busters inspiration.

I am glad to see everyone still moving.
Time to play catchup at work.

Prayers to all in need!

SOunds like everyone had a Good, Busy, interesting, productive, etc weekend! Congrats on the Trophy, COOL on that man in such GREAT shape still hunting his dawgs, Michael that is a Nice Pup!, and sounds like most of you are sure in car racing...
We had a Great time for Bob's bday... the cake was GOOD and dinner too. We had a great might Friday night too since some friends came over for a visit and Bob had no band night. I worked my tail off, I'm sore all over, I was hot, sweaty dirty and SORE... and TIRED...and very satisfied. ON Sat Mum and I both did gardening...TONS! We pruned and pruned and pruned and decided that Mum wanted to move some plants. Once we were done Mum was talking about a certain garden bed...and I decided I HAD to work on it more myself and I did some radical pruning to expose some daylilies buried under a BIG low Juniper and an azalea... one of Mums most PRIZED areas and I was scared BUT... I decided to see it thru her eyes and worked till dark. I went in to do dinner and shower and we went to bed "early" for her house... about 11:30 or midnight. It was going to be over 90 on Sunday so I wasn't going to do the transplanting BUT......I dreaded someone else doing it SO... I got up at 6, had coffee, went out at 6:30 am and worked till I woke mum at 9:30 and got all the stuff moved and watered! I was soaked with sweat and filthy and HAPPY...lol... Into the shower I went. I NEVER had a shower that felt so good! Got mum up and fed and dressed and the FIRST thing she wanted to do was see my Handywork... I was so nervous I really almost cried! SHE APPROVED! So we did some paperwork and I did laundry and cleaning and my brother in law from NY got there just in time for me to say Hi and chat a few and leave before I would be unsafe to drive with tiredness, at 7pm... and home I went where Bob and I planted the stuff I brought home and a new iris our friends(who were in our house watching tv)brought me! lol.. I hate plants...
Bob got our maters and some of last yrs cherry tomatos seeded too! lol... I nibbled on lettuce and spinach while I watered this aftn. YUM! Bob also did TONS around the place and is sore, scratched, bruised and tired and Feels Great! lol...

Dave - I took Buzz and one of the pups out Saturday, Buzz took me on tour. Briairs, multiflora roses and a beaver pond. I think I found the perfect spot for J.C. TO TURN LOOSE:-)

I STILL LIKE RACING BUT IT WAS MUCH BETTER 20 YEARS AGO. They need to get rid of them 1.5 mile tracks.

Randy congradulations on the new grandbaby...and like Bond said welcome to the club i love seeing my granddaughter coming through the door and sometimes love seeing her go out it too she can sure wear me out certain days

John just make sure you tell ME not to turn loose on that drop for JC, we made three drops last night...two coons and a den it was hot humid and i was soaked when we quit, only saw two black snakes yesterday but that was on my bike ride, went 12 miles then went coon hunting i think i am trying to kill myself...LOL but got to loose some weight, doctor on me bad!

Dan we know who is lease locked and it aint Linkous I bet Bond hasnt turned loose at night in over a month or more

Rob is turkey season "really" out?

Mike got to get with Wendell to schedule some more HTX hunts

Corky garden is starting to come around still need a little rain
