Had some thunder this evening. Bit of rain. THe day was sunny and about 70, pretty nice.

Last night while I was brushing my teeth the cat was STARING out the back window...wondered what he was hunting and turned on the outside light... fat coon eatting some spilled birdseed. Got a few pix but they were AWFUL! I know the coon is there...lol.. It was totally fine with me knocking on the window to get him to look.... Would have killed the cat in a flash.... But the cat believed he was the BOSS...
OH, my sweet tea kept me awake this eve to pay the bills! YAY! Hopefully It will not keep me up late....

Good afternoon. Beautiful day here, middle 80's and sunny.

Vabluegal - my strawberries seem to do good for about 3 years then I have to till them up and start over.

I am on vacation this week. Not going anywhere, mostly just going to take it easy. A little fishing, yard work, run the dogs a couple times and Sue and I are going to the Indians game Wednesday.

Morning everyone ! Hope everybody doing well! Pulled our truck 1st time this weekend didn't do to bad ! Still got a few bugs to work out!

Prayers to all....
I just got back from mum's tonight...so I'm BUSHED! Our son Brandon's GF was scheduled to stay at mums Sun and Mon pm...but got vertigo! I stayed last night, my sister Cass was able to do it tonight. Did WAYYYYYyyyy too much outside in the garden with Mum once I got her dressed on Sun PM and we had a blast. "Pruned" roses... she can't see well enough to help so I basically deadwooded them... She is doing great and out to dinner tonight with friends and my sister! My FAVORITE restaurant BUT... I had to say no and come home to Bob! THey are at Legal Seafood, we used to go tons with my dad cause he knew the owner way back when and the food is amazing...but PRICEY! It would have been a free one for me. Bob said he'd have rather gone there than come home to himself! lol.... Bob did way too much landscaping.
Thanks for the prayers for my friend and his family. His Moma did die last week, I saw the obit online...have not yet spoken with him but will let him know you all helped in Prayer. It will mean alot to him. His Moma was a Godly woman and loved to teach Sunday school. She IS in a GREAT place now in no pain and at Peace... Her family is sure in our Prayers....
HOT here, was 86 today here! Nice open window night! Love it.. BUT... I am too tired to stay up long so I think I'll do a quick browse and go to BED!

Hi gang. Middle 80's today. We had a couple heavy storms come through today. The first one pushed us off the lake.

Prayers to all! Ma ny thanks for all the prayers for my friend and his family. They are grateful for the prayers! I have been in touch with him now and he is doing very well. He was with his Moma as she took her last breath and then he and his brother and dad carried her casket as a final gesture where they could do something for her. I reminded him that they will continue to "do for her" as they will be carrying her in their hearts....... I'm so glad she is at Peace. She was a good woman who raised good kids and lived well.
Someone did WAY too much yesterday and never did get on here...wont mention any names but... this lil person ended up needing her big heavy duty spade to "egde" the beds around each rose.. Oh My how pasture sure does take hold when you cut pieces of it away for flowers...lol... I think I may have saved...I mean this person... may have saved the roses from strangulation...and also got them fed.... I was in the midday sun... basically from 12-3 I was in blaring 80 plus heat... not shade. I DID have a hat on and water with ice but I could feel the heat was too much so I also grabbed an ice pack and put it under my hat! Worked well. I forgot totally about my exposed arms...and got a VERY MILD lil bit of sunburn but I did pretty well... once I was done I couldn't move....LOL... I haven't worked that hard in years! I used to be such a diff. person and I felt like the old ME for a few hours! THen I felt like the "OLD" me in a new way.... lol... like an arthritic old lady!
Got some rain last night and hope more today and to night for the plants...we need it.
