Talked to Bill Kaeneal,Wisc, he was bringing me up to date on his Turk x Posey male. Max has been in two hunts, the first he scored 675+ on the first 3 trees then 425- on the next 2 and out the back door. The second hunt he had 225+ on 1 coon, 450 circle on the next two tracks and 400- on the next two trees. It sounds like he is a tree grabbing son of a gun, when Bill gets him straightened out he will be tough. Don't give up, keep him in the woods...........Tim

4.25 a gallon for gas and looks like a 12 hour drive to Bluetick Reunion and around 10 to Bluetick Days. I would love to but dont think I can swing it. We wont be going to the World hunt even if we get in either. Just not gunna be our year for the big ones...........Jon

Jon, I understand. Everything is expensive. I doubt we are coming to Wisconsin this year either.

Tim, wouldn't it be great to have three Mad Dog males on the reproducers list. I was pointing out to Robbie that if he will put 100 on the ground they will be on there too. I imagine Joker will make it first. I'm not sure about any others.

Robbie says that Sid has 5 nt Ch now and only has 44 pups on the ground. When he gets his 100 pups he will go on the list, and I agree it would be nice to see 3 on there at the same time............Tim

It makes me think of how neat it is to have multiple studs pups winning in hunts. It's just so different than just one hound in a bloodlineone throwing a good pup or two. That's what I like about team mad dog.

I took Froggie out to night for a couple of dumps.Both times she only had to go about 400 yards to the den trees. She is starting to look like Froggie again! We will see what happens tomarrow night...Doug

I went out again to night with Froggie and Brandy. We hunted a big timber. Both dogs went in about 350 yards and struck and treed at 450 with the meat. I turned the dogs loose again and they drifted out about 200 yards and Brandy kept hitting a tree so I went in to her. When I almost got to her, Froggie came in and backed her I could not find the coon because of the leaves. I wish Paul was on the end of Brandy's leash in stead of me....Doug

Its been our policy to not promote just one dog, we promote the bloodline. Once in a while a dog will get a little more recognition than others but its all about the blood, Breeding Naturals to Naturals and Coon dogs to Coon dogs. Some times we even produce one that can win a show (right Robbie)...........Tim

Went hunting with Troy Young and Johnny Yoder last night, had a good hunt. Johnny had Chika and a pup (both out of Kit), Troy had a littermate male to Chika and I took Ranger. We treed a den and 3 singles. Johnny and I had better finish our dogs quick because it looks like Troy's dog will walk through the hunts..........Tim
