I would like to think each and every one of you for the prayers and concerns for the passing of my grandmother. She sure enough was a special lady. Not many can say they had a grandparent for 51 years as I did so I feel blessed to have had her that long. Granny lived a long and full life and seen countless changes in her time, the woman never drove a day in her life but managed to get around where ever she needed to be. She also took proud in telling you she had never drank a drop of liquor nor touched tobacco. She wasn't a bible thumper but had faith unmeasureable and taught me right from wrong many times over. Again thanks for all the prayers.

Beautiful day here. I have taken to spending WAY too much time outside.......means I have to play catch up in the eves on here...LOL.... Also means I have to REwatch any tv we watch in the pm... cause I don't actually "watch" it... gotta love the dvr!

Heather - there is no such thing as spending too much time outside.

Corky - I don't have any walkers to loan you. I got rid of my last one 10 years ago. Possums weren't his problem, he liked them long legged critters with the split hooves.

PRAYERS TO ALL! Hope you are all well and enjoying SPRIN!
Rained today! Didn't have to water!
I DID go outside before it rained and wandered about looking at stuff. I DO love this time of year and being OUTSIDE! I was really just joking cause it keeps me from all of you SWEETEAS....
SO... funny story... My hair has gotten REALLY long... nearly hitting my butt... and I decided to trim it myself... I do my own bangs...how BAD could it be? Well I then spent another half hour trying tp fix what I had done...and cut off tons and KNEW Bob would have to fix it when he got home...LOL... and he LOVES my long hair. It was off by 2 inches but a quick fix for him... poor man he nearly cried...lol(just kidding) BUT... my hair is a good summer length now... about to the bottom of my shoulderblades I'd say. Looks WAY neater!
I got to meet our youngest son, Dylans Girlfriends dawg. She is a rescue from Tenn. Cute as a button. Could be a cur or Possibly mixed with lab since her coat is a bit fluffy but some curs have that... She had brindle points and black body and was SO SWEET! We're seeing more of the hunting dogs move up here thru rescues. At least we get to SEE them some still... Even as we lose more and more hunting land......... Speaking of losing land... the house at the very end of our street(the address is on the st it corners with... is on nearly 10 acres next to a pretty lil piece of conservation land and the "BigAppleFarm" land... It's only THREE PPOINT SEVEN Million if anyone wants to move here! It's about 300 SF bigger than our house... lol but it has a big fancy pool and fancy high end materials and such... AND... it will even be finished for the new owners...while ours will stay unfinished a bit longer...lol...

Happy Friday everyone !! I'm still alive !! One baseball season has come to a close .. Pine hill middle school remains undefeated 5 years in a row !!! We are still playing baseball for another team , that will finish up around July 15 .. Then it's off to Georgia Tech for a baseball 4 day camp !! Christian is going to love that !!
The weather is nice a humid and hot !! 96 today !!

I hope every one is doing well ! And I'm sooo very sorry to hear about linkous's granny !!! My heart is heavy for you and your family ! I know the sorrow and I'm still praying ..

I've missed every one more than you know !! I hope to be able to get on the thread a little more now.. Hope .. I say ..

Prayers to all! Corky, BIG EXTRA Prayers for your daughter in Law. I know someone who MANY YRS ago underwent an experimental treatment for her Malignant melanoma. It was very tough on her and there were times she wanted to give up and 'Go to God" but she stuck it out and it WORKED. She lived a good life till another, unrelated cancer in her throat, from smoking, took her life. CANCER IS the WORST...and we pray daily for ALL effected by it.... Hope she will do WELL with the new treatment!

Grey day here. Nothing special. I was in and out here and there in the garden etc... Bob is enjoying music night. I am resting up for a weekend with mum...lol.. I"m glad I have the day with Bob on Monday! I love the extra days! I think we'll be able to work in the garden...it may be hot though, near 80? That was an old forecast...now they are probably calling for snow...lol...

Prayers to ALL and extras again for your daughter in law, Corky. Not a grat record on that treatment... Hope that she will be able to find a BETTER way to be treated and we will be hoping for a MIRACLE intervention with all the Prayers!
Well.. BOTH Bob and Myself did WAY too much this weekend! We are here Old, Sore OLD tired lumps! lol... Great weekend. I did tons at mums... and the BIG job was digging up hundreds of tiger lilies that orig. came from my house. They grow wild up and down the street and we took seeds... and grew them here and I brought some to mums one yr...well they don't do well there with a bug that eats them.. so I spent HOURS getting a majority of them so we could save them...and plant them here. AND... You all recall what I said LAST time... It takes WAY more time to plant the same # as to diggem out! lol... I did most because Bob had to go to the emerg. vet with one of the cats Dyl is cat sitting for. He has a respitory thing... EVERY time the owners go away there is an animal emerg... one yr Sues horse was going to need to be put to sleep...but I kept him comfortable till they got back... I Swear it is "their luck"...but the cat SHOULD be ok with antibiotics... Lucky Dyl... I would nt' try to give that Feisty 3 legged former feral kitty(from my barn...lol)... meds! Bob finished the retaining wall and gardens on the side of house (GORGEOUS) and I put most of the lilies in the beds there... and we have LOTS of space left for other stuf!!
Needless to say I'm sore all over and happy too, we both are! Mum is doing well and our weekend was nice.
Three Point seven Million... lol.. I just KNOW one of my friends on here can be our new neighbor! I'm thinking only a Patriot will buy that... Not as concerned about that house as the one next door. Keeping fingers crossed for them to LIKE hounds and howling and... farm stuff and people like us.... lol...

Corky - still sending prayers for your daughter in law. I planted a new strawberry patch Saturday and I planted about half my garden today. Once everything comes up I will plant some more so everything doesn't get ripe all at once.
