Corey yes you should of went lastnight. I called a couple guys to go they were all busy. Except for one guy he was gettin intoxicated { Cousin SCOTT } that guy well you know. I ran in to him he was about done period for the night. So i just grab blue had 3 trees had 3 coon first one got hung up and i couldn't reach it with the 10 foot log i had but if someone a little taller would of been there uuummmm we know who that is i would got him out. Then second tree was maybe 100 yards from the first tree. shot that one out got skined and some guy came in their chewin my azz sayin i was huntin the wrong guys land. We had a little talk but i wasn't for sure becuase this land is or was up for sell. BUT he didn't follow back to the guys house that was farmin it so turned around and went down to another spot turned lose 7 mins had one treed. Same guy showed up yellin and rasing cane again but this time i knew for fact who owned it. So i started out he took off. So i called it a night becuase i didn't know if this guy was goin to keep showin up. but i did get 2 out of the three. left last one for scott to skin not on purpose just was walkin out to talk to guy one more time and i was pissed off and forgot about it. Blue look real good lastnight. P.S The coon were movin awsome so lots of them out in the fields.

Sounds like a good night, nothing like getting the blood boiling from a little azz chewing. You shuld went and drug scott's but out and made him get that coon for ya. I'm sure he wouldn't of minded getting woke up from a good drunk.

You not kiddin byran my young rattler male hasn't had but maybe up until that nite 2 coon shot out to him on his own and i think the more he gets on his own the tougher he's goin to be to beat this spring but wouldn't you know it very first coon he puts up it gets hung up. LOL Oh well such is how it goes in this sport we call coon hunting. As mad as i was at that guy though i was have tempted to go cut the dan tree down lol.

Had a good hunt last night with blaine. Dutch and blue grubbed up and old feeder track and layed him up. Mr. Coon never woke up from his nap Got to see a young redtick do a really nice job treeing on his own. Very nice young prospect.

COREY how's huntin your way. Ours is gettin pretty bad i think we got all the dumb ones killed and the old smart ones are not movin very for from their homes. I'm going to be off for a couple weeks startin next thursday lets hook up and run some hounds maybe i can get your opinion on my blue dog and trust me be honest my feelins don't get hurt! I'm usually the one pointing out faults quiker than most poeple. Just let me know and i'll pm my number. or if you got scotts just call him let us know. He needs to gt that stay at home blue of his out anyway. I hope he reads this. He's turnin into no huntin pud. I think he's had my dog out more than is. Maybe he's seen the light lol. J/K sassy still can tree a coon or 2 when she gets he head out her a$$ she still can be tough to beat. But she peee scott off here lately but think it's owner not huntin her . LOL ill hear from scott now. He may not bring her she go alot money in her belly right now.

I'm starting to think the same thing. Just got in a little bit ago. Took brandy and champ and they didn't look so hot. Couple dens and each had a slick. Was going to come back to take dutch but it's windier than heck, at least thats my excuse to quite early. I've been out the last 5 nights anyway, and will probably go again tomorrow. Give me a call when you want to go. Next friday would work the best for me. After xmas I will be back up north deer hunting for a week.

Champ man has had a couple really good nights as of late. He has started opening more on the ground and last night he went deep with Dutch and treed for about a half hour before we got there. Next drop he tried to get split moved it out really good but couldn't put an end to it. Turned dutch loose behind him and he ended up pushing the coon into a field tile. We could see it about 15 ft in.

My buddy Kenny that is huntin freckles says he is goin to take her back when she comes in heet. He says that he still wants a bluetick. He is wantin to find one to buy I think maybe in the next couple months. So keep your ears open if you hear of one let me know or I can give you his number so you can tell him about it.

I know of a few younger pups around the 6mo age, but thats about it. There is a litter out of dutch due in a month or so if he wants a young pup. Don't know of anything older right now.

Boys, I know where there is a rattler female that can be bought. Out of a litter I raised april 05. The boy that has her only hunted her 2 times with me during season 05 and I hunted her about 15 nites for him this summer. She will tree an easy coon. She is the wild kind. Will make you pull your hair out finishing her but I think when you got done she would be the right kind. Squally bawl on track, super chop treedog when she trees and knows its right. I can give you a # if anyone is interested.

Thanks but I dont see him spending a lot of money. He is not even sure if he wants to get back into the competitions again. He used to hunt walkers and blueticks. But he gave it up a couple years back and strictly coyote hunts right now. I think he is down to 8 good hounds right now and one coonhound that he just got this fall.

Ya it was foggy as heck last night. Couldn't hardly shine a tree. Got a couple high school kids that might tag along. They go once or twice a week with me and enjoy going along. So far they haven't been scared off and there have been a few nights I've put um through the ringer.
