Floyd hunts plenty good. I've got to have a dog that will go hunting around here and he goes enough for me. He will go through a mile section and into the next if he has too. I've hunted him by himself at least 80% of the time and he has put me in strange country a time or 2.
Has a decent track mouth but not great. Chops, bawls, squeals, but doesn't bring out his full mouth when he starts a track. It improves as the track does. Huge locate and an above average tree mouth in my opinion.
He is not what I consider a "coondog" yet, but might be one of these days.
I'm sure some people would not like the dog, but I do most of the time. I enjoy hunting him more than anything I've had in several years.
He is performanced but I'm not really wanting to breed him too much.
I will sure try and work something out with you on a pup if we get enough females, but I plan on keeping a couple and one other female is spoken for. Lucy just went out of heat a month or so ago, and I plan on breeding her on her next cycle. I wanted to this time but the timing wasn't going to be good for us.
Thanks for your compliments and keep in touch. I'll sure do what I can to see that you get a pup.
