That sounds like a typical southern family reunion. You had Dads, daughters, sons, uncles, brothers and cousins all on the same tree. Of course there were only 4 dogs. You might be a redneck if your family tree only has 2 branches. Lets see... Joe is out of Moose, Chick is out of Haze, Haze and Moose are half brothers, Moose and Chick are half brother/sister as well as uncle/niece, Haze is Joe's uncle, Chick is Joe's aunt. I am really getting confused now.

Can Moose still tree a coon? Has he recovered from Lymes and Blastomycosis yet? Have you gotten him in any kind of shape for hunting yet? Will he even go hunting? How does he do by himself? Did he lose his mouth after being sick? I haven't heard anything about him in awhile. Do we still have a chance for the Finals the 22nd, 23rd, 24th or should I make other plans? What are y'all doing up there? Has Bond run out of bullets? Everyone has gone silent.

Is treeing coon's, he got deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep on Monday night and was treed over and hr and a half before I got to him. Yes, with the meat............ I will be going tonight as I did last night hope we can get some up fast the long hike's are killing me ...lol. Did I ever tell you I love coon hunting?

Da Moose is not 100% but he is getting tougher each night. That is all a man can ask for after him being so sick to the point of death.

It's good to hear that ol' Moose is still making life miserable for a few coons...and maybe a handler or two...eh?

Not always so fun to chase a dog that goes deep when he has to but...he means to find him a coon so I guess ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Moose isn't a straight line dog, he hunts what you put him in but I can see that it's probably a bit more fun to put him where the coons are a bit thicker.

Cool weather in the North Buck...55 for a high today and down to maybe 29-30 tonight. Could be the first frost of the season come morning...and none too soon as far as I'm concerned.

The leaves are starting to turn and the air has a chill but fresh enough to make a man breathe deep and grin ear to ear...good stuff.

Good luck hunting, I hope you an ol' Moose find an easy one.

(I get a kick out of calling him ol' Moose...what is he now...3 years old?)

It was all most to fun.........made 5 trees and seen 7 coon. The last drop he got deep and yes he had the meat. Moose never got over 600 yds. On the way out I was crossing a gate and put my hand on top of an old post.......well something got me I pulled my hand up and looked and a spider feel from my hand. Now my left hand is bigger than my right one. It hurt's 10 times more than a bee sting we will see in the morning. I may need to go see the doc, time will tell. FUN, FUN, FUN.............

Buck, go see the Doc right away. Spider bites are very serious. They can KILL you. You need lots of Benadryl and antibiotics. I am serious. It can cause you problems with your arm/hand for the rest of your life.
