Marcus, he is in texas...my buddy couldnt handle him, he had the neighbors complaining all the time about his barking....I took him to give him a try, and he babbled non stop in the timber and wouldnt close his mouth around the house...I found out a couple of his littermates were the same way, so I gave him to a friend in texas....

ya, I am liking him...he has a good mouth and sure will spit them out at feeding time...he is for sure one compact heavy built lil dog...

Man those pictures bring back some good ole memories, went hunting the last two nights with two 6mo old pups out of Rooster II along with my 1yr old Zip female. 1st dump we unloaded on top of 8 deer and none of the pups paid them any mind, they got right in the timber and started a coon and ran it about 300yds and put it up seen eyes after 15min of shining. Cut them loose and they split up, one 6mo old male pup got off by himself and struck, took it about a 1/4 mi and started locating, we left the other two and got in to him and he was trying to locate in a bunch of pin oaks couldn't find the coon but he was getting real worked up. tried to get some pics but it was so thick they didn't turn out real good. The other two pups tried to start on something but never finished. the next night spent 3 1/2 hrs in the woods without a bark and walked through 2 sections.

Just got off the phone with Ron Grubb, he has been hunting his pup out of Zip and GR CH Mad Dog Lady. Ron said that when the pup gets on the wood you can't hardly hear anything else. He really likes him...........Tim

Just got word from Damon Ferrell, GR CH NT CH PR Mad Dog Hey Jude(2008 BBOA National Queen) had 7 pups tuesday sired by GR NT CH PR Smokey River Mad Dog John II. pups and mother doing well. These will be performance pups that should start early and finish quick.......Tim........Damon Ferrell is" bluetickman4" on here.

Been getting Ruby and Cleo ready for the MCHF big championship invitational hunt this weekend. Starts Fri and ends Sat, cast winners advance, single elimination.

In the past we have placed GR NT Mad Dog Spanky, GR NT CH Mad Dog Glo 101 and GR NT CH Mad Dog Wacker in the final 4. We have had several make to the the final 16, we try to raise a competetive Bluetick that is a coondog first, competition dog second. " A coon dog is a competition dog, a competition dog is not always a coondog"

If we get eliminated on Friday we are planning on going to Fayette Sat night.......Tim

Tim is Ruby showin yet? Just wondering when the pups are due. Timmy and I put the pups in the corn night before last, must have dumped right on top of two litters because we had dogs going in three different directions and seen coon coming out of the the corn like flees. Rooster hammered one to the north, Froggie treed to the south about 200 yrds and Mad Dog Hot Rod Lincoln (6 mo. old) was opening still in the corn, trying to run them all. they all looked real good. Next dump the rain set in and Froggie struck on the edge of the corn and worked a short track and treed, Rooster came in and backed her, couldn't find the coon but did see two kittens about 25yrds away neither dog acted like they could smell them on that tree figured they were winding. Cut loose and the night got wetter and worse as far as hunting goes.

Drew out with Phil Vogel's Gr Nt Jetta female last night at the MCHF HUNT , we scored on several coon and Jetta won the cast. Had my chance, Cleo split treed about a quarter of a mile from Jetta. we found Jetta's coon and couldn't find Cleo's. For those of you that have not hunted with Jetta, she is about as nice as they come "THE REAL DEAL!", "THE TOTAL PACKAGE!" and pretty darn "GOOD" TOO..........Tim
