rob I have a answer for the turkeys that hang up at 75 yards after I have got up at 4am and sucked up lord knows how much pollen, --- it is my 24 savage with a triple deuce on top and 3 inch 20 on the bottom and a 3x9 leupold optics, its old as I am and rifle and shotgun shoot in the same spot, gets me out of those 75 yard jams. There was a salmon fisherman who was out in the ocean fishing when his boat sank. He was lucky enough to make to a deserted island where he had to survive on what he could find.

When the Coastguard eventually found him, the leader noticed there was a fire pit with California Condor feathers all around.

He went over to the fisherman and said, "You know, it's illegal to kill a California Condor, I'm afraid I'm going to have to arrest you."

The fisherman protested for some time saying that he killed it because he was going to starve but eventually he calmed down.

"Out of curiosity" the coastguard asked, "What did it taste like?"

The fisherman replied, " Well, it was kind of a mix between a snowy owl and a bald eagle."

An angler and his wife lived a long and virtuous life together. When they were in their nineties they were involved in a horrendous car accident and both were killed instantly. Being good people that arrived at the Pearly Gates Reception where St Peter was ready to welcome them.

"You are going to love Heaven, we have a special section for anglers," he said. "We have the best storm beaches where the Redfish and Pompano come right into the breakers. The rocks have easy access and you can cast into deep clear water for Red Snapper, Grouper etc. There are boats waiting in the harbour to take you out for Cobia and Kings, because this is where they came after they were fished out of the Gulf. And there are big game boats ready to take you off-shore after tuna,amberjack and wahoo. Its never stormy, you will love the ride."

The angler listened to this, then turned rounded and gave his wife a right slap round the face.

Shocked, St. Peter said "Why did you do that???"

"Because if she hadn't made me exercise and eat all that heath food rubbish I could have been here years ago!"

I called in 3 hens this morning but no tom, I hav;nt used the yellow stuff this year but I thought the toms might cooperate a little better, they sure are making me mad, besides that yellow stuff is not lawful but I agree with you WB. Had a Lazy day yesterday and wasn't on here... But I'm back!

Nice sunny day here. Coolish but not cold. Have NO clue the weather for the weekend...

OH...AND BTW! GO BRUINS! Holy Moly...I stayed up for the whole game and it was some of the best hockey I have seen in YEARS! The overtime period had me exhausted! Poor Bob fell asleep... he just couldn't make it..I could NOT fall asleep!
Oh My goodness... the weekend of work at mums... I dread it already! lol... I'll be back NW and tell y'all about it...

Horton Family some of you may have know Eugene he helped start the Carroll County Club years back when it first started they used an old house on Eugene's farm . Eugene sold dog supplies and used to attend most al of the hunts but he still went and sold at the bigger hunts like the grand american walkers days etc

----- stopped and seen my 101 buddy on way to club today, we killed 15 turkeys and about 20 deer while I was there in about 45 minutes. I enjoy my visits with him. more old pics coming ---- see ya
