Larry Heschke from Cherokee, Iowa has been down the last two nights hunting. Larry has a young male sired by Ole Joker that he hunted with Paul and Glo Wed night and the first half of tonight. I met up with them around midnight, and to make a long story short Ranger and I want a rematch. Glo looked double tough, maybe a little to good, she has a new owner and will be living in Cherokee, Iowa. Good luck with her Larry she is a nice female. She will be bred to Wacker when she comes in.............Tim

Cheyenne Grissitt, Southern Alabama, Doug Linn and I went for a couple turn outs last night in the rain. Cheyenne had a female that he just picked up in Southern Mo. and a young male that he called Cadence (John II x LULU), Doug had Froggy and I just guided. We made a den tree and one on the outside, Froggy looked her normal self (tough), Cheyenne's new female looked good, but Cadence looked outstanding, big bawl mouth on track with a loud chop and bawl on tree. Cadence had first start and first tree on the coon on the outside and he almost matched Froggy bark for bark on the tree. I was really impressed with the way he looked, Cheyenne said that was his 5th coon put out to him. What a NATURAL! I would own him and I tried. Cheyenne, Teresa and Autym have a safe trip home and let me know when you get there. Really enjoyed the visit and time in the woods........Tim

Mr.Tim we havent made it home just yet, we are a few hours out..I would like to thank you,your family, and zone 1 members for your hospitality to me and my family..Its been a long trip but I have enjoyed the conversation and info that everyone shared. Tell Mr. Doug that I didnt bring Cadence up to be the ringer in the bunch but Im sure glad he made me look like I dont know what Im talking about...lol...If I can get him hunting like that in these swamps they better watch out...I wish you was closer I would have left him with ya for a little bit..I enjoyed it and once again thanks..Cheyenne, Teresa, and Autyme

Clyde,
Ole Zip was the first Bluetick to earn the HTX title. He is a hard hunting hound that likes to get by himself and usually has the coon. He opens up here there and yonder locates with a dying bawl and follows it up with a steady chop. I have seen the ole dog hold all kinds of pressure. He has the ability to wind coon and trees many with out opening up on the ground. I like him.

I have a young female off of her first litter. She has a big mouth. We are bench showing her now and she will be put in the woods a good bit this year. According to Brooks her littermate flicked a switch last week and appears to be a hard tree dog. I know Robbie really likes blueberrie and wanted to keep her in WI. There is going to be allot of of years of work in those pups pedigree. Lance

hay Tim havent been on the computer for a long time thanks for what ya had to say about buddy he was a pritty good hound his pup is coming allong very well it looks like turk can through a dog on down the line too he has run and treed his own coon and is loud and independent at only six months he is everything i have come to expect from a mad-dog.........thanks again.jeff

Thanks Jeff, I ment what I said about Buddy, I just wished I could have hunted with him after he finished out, Troy sure did a lot of braggin on him. The Cadence dog that Cheyenne brought up from southern Alabama was a littermate to Buddy. Cadence sure looked good up here, I sure would feed him (and I tried).......Tim

Mr .Tim he is good as yours if you ever want to run Cadence in some hunts up there, but as a loaner only...lol....He still has a ways to go for as I'm concerned, but should do ok if we keep hammering in the river swamps...Did you get the pm I sent you..I should have brought my Nitech Katie with me cause she is in heat now, I would have liked to bred her to Turk. Might have to let Cadence do the deed..she is the double Geronimo bred female.

Dale Imhof, Southern Mich, gave me an update call on his young male (Turk x Lucy). He says that Cowboy will open here, there, yonder and gets treed (about 120 bpm) he has seen him split tree a long ways away and just a few feet away. Dale plans on his first hunt being the BBOA Nationals. Cowboy was 1 yr old in Jan. Give Dale a call he likes to talk about his young dog. 517-524-8598.........Tim
