Morning guys. My buddy and I won the buddy hunt last night with a total of 26 1/4 pounds. Everyone brought coons in . I guess they were moving. My buddy took his RHINO last night and sure was nice to drive to them dogs. Those two coons we got the dogs split treed and went to mine first shot it out then went to Jason dog and shot it out. One of the rules is two coons or two hours. Bill will you stop making the baby mad up north.

Bill is smart enough to feed a Feist but he never brings him (or her) to Mt Vernon. I know he knows the way. So does Mike. I don't win every cast I have been on at Mt Vernon but I certainly have won my share. It is a good place for old farts. Nuff said.
All I can say is that I am hunting a 10 year old female that has treed me over 1000 coon. I am not getting a bark after walking her by 8-10 den trees that I have known for 30 years or more. I am getting a few big boar coon (only 1 sow) but the hunting is not good enough to hunt my pup (I hunt him by himself). If you guys want to claim great results, the message board will post anything you want to post.
Bill, I do enjoy hunting my Curs at night and have some great video I will post soon. I like my hounds also.
I am not going to post any more but I may monitor the thread some seeing how it is hunting season.

Dave what is your problem with everyone. You have something to say about every thing. Why don't you mind your own business and leave us to talk among ourselves. There isn't a thread on this website where you open your mouth about everything. Did UKC make you a monitor on every thread. You really got a bad problem with the public.

accrate hunt report I hunted Jessie (a just passed 2 year old female ) that I raised never kept track of time Iam retired dont worry about time. Frist track ended on a cedar tree could only see an eye droped a tiny coon. next was a slick tree sent her on she took track 600 yards droped one of the biggest sow coons I have treed. next track hung up on a bluff to long coon got to a den last track she struck about 600 yards deep working track that got a lot better another big sow coon end of report

Same here Bill, pleasure hunt only (or hide hunt) don't want my hounds eat on too. They aint fussy at the tree and I want too keep it that way. Others that comp. hunt don't tell me how to hunt and I don't tell them how too either. WE all get along just fine.

Looks like we are getting ready to get some rain. Just what we need. Need to make some money for our club to survive.Hunters won't get out in the rain.
This video will show how rough the squirrel dogs are at Mt Vernon. The squirrel hunters are not near as cut throat as the Nite Hunters. Another point is that the 2 other Daves in the video, Flint and Young, live at Sesser or nearby. Mike, either guy would welcome another guy to help shoot some squirrels. Neither walked too fast for me and my health problems. The last point is that the Rose female in the video is a littermate to the pup I sold Bill.
Now, as far as the 2 Daves go, Dave Young occasionally sells squirrel dogs (mostly Feists). Use your own best judgement if you think you need a squirrel dog. I doubt if Dave Flint would take $3500 for Rose.

accurate report from last night..stayed in..worked all day on the job site by myself,rest of the crew thought it was going to rain and didn't show up..didn't rain till after four.got home sat down in the recliner...next thing I knew the loving woman was waking me up ,telling me i should go to bed...
