Bill right now I about to sell every thing I got. Jason had to go to in-laws to eat thanksgiving dinner. I woke up at 3:am sicker that a buzzard. Cold chills every joint in my body hurt and had one hell of a headache. I ended up putting 4 blankets on me a sweat shirt and turn the heat up to stay warm. I didn't get to eat Thanksgiving Dinner. Finally about 4PM I felt it break and I started getting warm. Now here I sit with a shirt on and feeling better. Still weak but I am not going tonight for sure. We have a buddy hunt tomorrow night and hope I feel good enough to go.

I think every coon in the woods was moving last night..went northeast of ashmore last night for the first go round ,didn't get turn loose till 7:30.took the old dawg. made 4 trees up there had coons in 3 ,and a den...seen 6 other coons on the road or sitting up around the corn field I hunted..came home it was 10:15...thought as well as it went I would take the female..turned loose down here in the bottom..she wallered a track for 20 min.'s shut up for ten..located and came treed ..had one there..cut her loose again, she made 5 barks on the ground ,located came treed ,had it..seen 4 more sitting up there..11:50 called it a night..going to work on the barn today..end of accurate report..

Sure, Rex, anything you print. Lots of folks that really coon hunt know that the coon do not move much from Thanksgiving to after Christmas here in Central Illinois and you are lucky to get a coon but heck, if it is an honest "accurate" report, some folks might believe it. I will be posting my videos of my catches. LOL

I wish I was a expert in every thing I do. That man can tell when coons are going to move and when they are not. That is one reason he buys dogs that all ready have made Champions.

LMAO--------big time------- this was one of the best posts yet. Myself I never seen a coon one last nite, but not too many here in the front room. I could see coon a movin' last nite, since they haven't moved that much so far. They do get hungry at sometime or another, I believe right now there's not much need for coon too move, their not chasin' sows, plenty too eat, weather is not that bad, Jeff said the coon they got were fat as a butter ball. So as for me R.W. I don't doubt your's or Bill's reports. Tonite if I go I'll take a camera, stop watch, maybe WAND tv crew if they're available, and we'll all have an accurate hunt report!!!!!!!

Be sure you get lots of footage of the ground and the crunching of leaves and no matter what the video shows tell it like you want it to be. I'am just like Forest Gump THATS ALL I GOT TO SAY ABOUT THAT. HA HA HA HA

Oh, I forgot, the reason I am not seeing many coon is that Rex Sims and Bill Starnes hunted Bill's Feist and have already caught the coon around Neoga. LOL. I always put my boots on before I read any of their messages, it gets pretty deep sometimes.

As for my Champions, I have made the ones I am feeding now. Watch my videos and see how they operate. I can afford to buy a better one if someone has one.

I have coon hunted for over 50 years and hunted some of the best competition dogs and other coon dogs in the country. I will stand by the statement coon don't run very often between the last of November and the last of December. There are a few night they do move but a lot of the time they lay up. All but 1 of my coons have been big boars.

I could do better videos. My New Boss video didn't show Boss and Kate killing the coon.

You can read most of the messages on this board and find the truth on how well the coon are moving.

There are some folks that think the only time you can believe a coon hunter is when he calls another coon hunter a liar. But, I believe there are a few honest coon hunters and plenty of the others.

Is it that or the coons died from eatin' the fish from LAKE OF THE OPEN SEWER LINES?
