Tim showed my 2 pups their first coonhide yesterday they both locked down and treed like old dogs. They just turned 4 months old out of turk and jill

Tim, my internet provider finally got all their towers upgraded and put a new radio and dish on the house. Looks like it will last longer than 10 min. now. I can't believe it took two wks.

Blueblood, I will gladly answer that ? for you, I have hunted BLUE DOGS FOR 24+ YEARS, AND i WILL SAY ON THE OUT SET OF THIS i STILL DON,T KNOW IT ALL, aLSO PLEASE REALIZE i AM SPEAKING FROM COMP. HUNTING POINT OF VIEW, OVER THE MANY YEARS THE BLUE DOG HAS BEEN FAMOUS FOR STRIKING COONS THAT WALKED ABOUT 3;OO pm afternoon and yes a large portion of blues can tree this coon, however its 1 hour 45 minutes into a hunt, mean while mr. walker dog in the same cast has has 2 or even 3 hot coons treed and on the card, secondly, Turks pups for the most part are one bark tree dogs, when they go treed they are treed, none of that locating 3 or 4 times checking around 2 or 3 minutes then relocating the same tree and then treeing, another famous trait that ole blue has possed in the breed has a whole, thirdly, Turk pups don,t boo-tick around on tracks opening every step they take, they will open and drift a track out opening on it every so often allowing them to close in on a coon and force him up, and Turks off springs are looking for the first coon up, they also posses the ability when coons are not stiring good on the ground to hit it here and there then fall treed with the meat, so blueblood please put all these traits together and answer me a ? what do you come up with in terms of competing, Respectfully ..........Gerald

All I can say on all this is that I stopped hunting for 5 years to let my kids get older to be fair to both the dogs and my kids. My kids wanted to go so I got back in roughly a year and a half ago. I sought out Tim and Paul when I got back in because I remembered Mad Dog when I got out just had never had the pleasure to own 1. Tim and Paul took me in like family and their blood graces my kennel now. I'm 41 now and have coonhunted since I was 6 years old with my brother. I've never had dogs this good nor have I ever seen pups that simply start themselves by simply taking them to the woods like my Mad Dog pups do. It took a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to make everything else I've had over the years tree a coon and I've hunted everything but Gascon. I'm extremely happy for my choice and can't thank Tim and Paul enough for the work they put in over the years for me to have dogs like this. I was looking for great dogs when I joined Team Mad Dog, I found that but also found great people behind the dogs. Looking forward to making some noise in the winners circle this year.

Blue Blood. This is why we like our Turk Dogs. Dual GR Smoke and Nt CH Robin. Our mad dogs tree coons pleasure hunting and win at the hunts. Enjoyable to own. We can talk about dogs on here all we want but id much rather let the dogs do the talkin in the woods.

I can't remember the date but it must of been in the winter of 75 when I hunted with Tim and Paul for the first time. I know we hunted Smokie and remember Tim getting mad at him for pecking around on an old bad track. He treed the coon on the frozen tundra. The first bluetick I owned was from a cross of Smokie and Janie an old female that a Mark Knight owned. Janie was a real nice female. That would have been 8 generations ago and many nights in the woods. Tim would admit that his brother Paul has spent more nights in the woods chasing these blue hounds around than most three guys that hunt hard. Paul may drive 100 miles north just to hunt a few ditches he hunted years ago. I don't believe there's a ditch in that part of the world that Paul hasn't turnt a hound into.

Big Brother went hunting with Mike Moppin last night and they had a descent hunt for that country. They treed one on the outside and caught one on the ground, made some den trees and a blank. Paul said all the dogs hunted hard and had to go a long ways to get something done. When they got treed they sure made the hills andf hollers ring.........Tim

When I first read your question to Everett I was not sure who you wanted the answer to come from. By capitalizing certain words it appeared that you wanted info from several individuals. That is why I said to contact the owners of Turk pups or give me a call. Since you have not called me I must guess that you contacted some of the owners to come up with the term DRUM BEATERS. My impression of a drum beater is one that follows blindly where ever the parade goes never choosing another route. These so called Drum Beaters are individuals that started out with something else and now like what they have. Mr. Blueblood you seem to be familiar with the bloodline, come and go hunting with what we have now and you never know you may be traveling to a different beat..........Tim

It was rough out there tonight, Mark Brown and I turned loose 9 times, 6 den trees, 1 blank, 1 dozer pile and finally 1 on the outside. The dogs really looked good they went deep when they had to, worked tracks up and got treed and treed hard. The coon just didn't want to do his part..........Tim

Talked to Brian Pierson, Kingsville Mo. about his young female sired by CH NT CH PR Niangua River Mad Dog Ranger (GR NT CH John II x GR CH NT CH Mia Pache Bero) and out of NT CH PR Mad Dog Frankie(GR NT CH PR Mad Dog Frank Jr x Gr Nt Ch PR Mad Dog Two Gun Billie). Brian said this little female has treed several coon on her own this season and is a real tree dog, he plans on putting her in the huints this summer...........Tim
