Havnt been in hear much,ended with 4 Hoss and Max pups 1 female and 3 males,I couldn't be happier with a litter as a whole!
Huntings been pretty good I've been hunting Max some after weening pups and been treeing some coon.
Trent Krough braught Oakley and his cousin Austin braught Storm up for our hide opener,we hunted all night and treed some coon and seen some nice dog work!

Working my Hoss and Max pup... and hoping Jewel has pups... due over the weekend. How are your Kash and Rain pups doing ? we have a little snow but going to warm up to melt it away. Later.
Weathers looking better for hunting and deer season is over...time to get in the woods!
We got some fire crackers coming up...should be a fun spring....

Going good up here it was -18 below this morning up here. Got a couple pups to work this spring. One from Hoss and Max and Tug and Jewel. And a young dog out of Hoss and Shine. So spring won't get here soon enough. Later.

Threw Max in RQE couple weeks ago and got her qualified had her ready to take to Michigan for Dave Dean tribute hunt went to load her up to head out and she was dripping so ran to Mikes grabbed Jewel I was a little worried as she hasn't traveled really...she definantly showed me she is capable to be her moms replacement....Friday was her first grand night cast and was a complete biizerd we treed 3 coon right away all 3 spit all had coon.couldnt get one on outside after that but had a great cast Jewel won it with 200 but missed winning grand by 25 to Jet 10....
Sat night was not to nice of weather with heavy froze snow on the ground not sure the dogs beleaved it would be possible to find a coon where we were but managed to put 1 on the outside and 2 dens..Jet 10 won the cast with 225...
Had a great weekend not a lot of coon seen but not for lack of dogs trying made it all weekend never drew a minus point and had good casts..
Got a text Friday on the way out there that Gem (TugxJewel) 4 months old was out for a walk with Mikes wife and decided she was gonna try to be a coondog and treed a coon and has never been messed with... His wife took her home and she must have liked what she was doin cause she took off from home and went back to tree some more...don't get much more natural...now just gotta work on not goin back to a tree ...
Been a good spring excited for what the year brings with a few young and some old...
Max turned 10 April 5th but but don't wanna slow down.
Another good weekend for Max pups...Justin handeled power to another cast win at the heartland classic (also did last year) Powers been on a roll especially after he just tested positive for a tick disease..
Justin Deutsche hunted Daisey in a hunt in North Dakota taking home a 1st place!
Nick pease put Style in her first night hunt and I believe his first night hunt...sounds like they had a good hunt with no cast winner but style did a nice job on the only coon scored...
Zone 3 hunt is coming up...Brayden's wanting to hunt Max in grands since its on his birthday...she's put a lot of miles on over the years and it's starting to show....might have to see if she's has 1 more weekend in her...
Congrats Jake Scott and now Grand Night Champion Scotts River Bottom Rain..glad to hear after battling euricula she came back around..sounds like she's gonna be a reproducer also..Nice job!
Mike Eaton put another CH win on Jewel..she'll soon be dual grand..
