Hunted a $kc hunt again Friday night. Drew out with some of the best competition in the state. Wild Bill, Withdoctors, Juice, and a Harry semen dog. Wild Bill finished 2nd in the Ky state race last year, and is up at the top again this year. Juice is up in the standings also. It was a really cold, bad night. We had a good cast and I enjoyed seeing some good dog work. Bill got struck first and ended up deep treed on a den. S7 got treed in deep at the end up of the hunt and gave me a chance to win, but it ended up being a den, and I got beat on circle points. Those coon weren't moving far from their dens that night.

Great bunch of guys to hunt with, and packing plenty of dog power!

Here's a video, taken today, of Blackwater Lil Ann (S7 x Party Girl). You can get some idea of her mouth volume.



She's 7 mos. old and probably would have been started if not for being the dead of winter. This is the 2nd coon she's ever been around. What I liked is she winded this coon, setting in a tree from about 75 yards away. She found it on her own and fired up without any encouragement.

Thanks for sharing the pictures an video of Lil Ann, you have her looking very good!
She is so much like her mama in all her look's and as Brock said, her mouth does come from Smokey 7.

Her early age natural coon zoneing ability appears to be holding true to what you and I both have been breeding for.
I'm sure we will be hearing more good things on Lil Ann.

Last night was the first time I took LA hunting. She treed with Daze on the first drop, first tree made of the night. This is a big hollow oak. She also treed with Daze on a slick tree, and a coon later in the night.

It sure is nice when a pup is started, after their first night in the woods.
