mr. white that is correct, that cross was only made once and can never be made again, wish I had the coin, cause I would buy your hound in a heart beat, looking for one that operated just like her, I have a puppy from emmy II's last litter, only time with tell if she makes the grade

365 Days-To Get Ready-Again!

That is how long it is until next years World Hunt. Joe, James and Dave-thanks for all the activity--lot more interesting to me what you have to say and whats going on. Dave if the dog in Tn. is like the rest from that cross I can see why you are interested in him. Good luck with Jr this weekend. James-think your club is hosting a youth event next weekend-know some people heading your way. I certainly enjoyed visiting your club. Dave Gardin is feeding some off 6 Again and would make room for another good one --hey wouldn't we all. Got a couple of these gyps due in heat any time, so keeping a close watch on them--will shake up our hunt rotations but thats a good problem to have--like I've said before it takes me 4 years to do what Ed and Terry do in 2 or less. Enjoying these dogs-hope you are enjoying yours!

Ed Mead

Spoke with Ed by phone -got some good news that Scott Phillups Maddy female is looking good. If I get to make it up in a couple of weeks- going over to take a look and hopefully a hunt with Scott and her. Ed's Hope female from 6 Again X Jimmy Yawn"s Gn Nt Pounding Blue Birdy is clicking -5 singles in an hour is doing it in any ones part of the country. There is a nice female due in here first of the week to breed to Reject. Plans are for my Terri female (6 Again X Gr Nt Joanie) to be bred to the Mo Jo dog out of Terry Tuckers Boomer of Jimmy Yawn & Justin Riley. We have been treeing alot of sow coons with kittens lately, so it was nice to get one that wanted to stretch his legs last night-don't get me wrong I like pop ups-especialy in a nite hunt-but coonhunting is listening to one being worked and then driven to the tree--I loved it as a young un' and I love it now. You know its right when people lean over and ask--you sure them dogs is runing a coon?--then they nail the tree!--if that ain't good to you--find another sport.

Thats a bad day right there! I know them boys I hog hunt with in South GA have that problem. Its bad when you gotta shine the ponds before you can cut your dog loose and see a bunch of eyes looking back. Gotta take care of the problem though..nice and quiet like.

Taste like Chicken!

James-thank you! Ask your buddy if he wants steaks indivdually wrapped or just cubed. We sure are seeing a lot more of them up here. When I moved to Texas-they told me they had to duck hunt with two dogs-one to feed the gator and one to get the duck. By the way -Know what you get when you cross a gator and a pig? Nothing-there is some things a pig won't do! Go Dawgs. Hope you have a good turnout this weekend--lows in the 50's -should be nice.

Dave

I do not know if I am going to be able to come up this year. Ed and I talked, he said come up the 2nd weekend in Oct. which is when I try to go up every year-maybe the 8th or the 15th. Think I have a ride if I can swing it,but my chances do not look good right now. Would also like to make the Fall Roundup-I guess I enjoy that hunt as much or more than all the hunts that I have attended-maybe because I was not responsible for putting it on. All of the hunts are alot more fun when you can just go and enjoy yourself. Dave- if or when I come up we will give you a shout-that will make for good dogs and good company--some of the dogs will be off 6 Again. Sat.--hi-74 low--45--yee haw!! and that is the forecast for down here.
