Chawn- check out the thread "Donations Needed For BBOA Nat'l Youth Event" located on the UKC coonhound forum. Page 5 shows some pictures of their swim pond.

We are looking forward to getting our 1st hound very soon and we sought out a litter that we thought would be super comp. in the water races and other events + be top on the bench , be a great hunting dog and take our Jr. handler to the top. I think the more you can do with your dog no matter the breed only makes the bond between you and that dog stronger. Plus it all looks like so much fun!!!

We had a great time at Cole Camp and Keytesville this past weekend. There were some of the best swim dogs in this area there. Competition was tuff. Most every race could have gone either way with a blink of an eye! Very exciting! Several went home with a piece of the pie from those three straight days of racing. Points, awards and championship titles were all on the line! It was great and the sportsmanship between all was the best. Hand shakes, congratulations, and above all else, team work and co-operation between all. The fellowship between old and new friends afterwards was awesome! I have never laughed so much afterwards!

A special congratulations to Jerry Cary and Slim Jim for winning the 2011 MO State Over-all Water Championship!

Also, Congrats to Shawn and Dennis for achieving new Champion titles on their hounds this weekend!

Congrats to all of the winners !

We finally finished Ice Baby to Water Champion this past weekend in IL...I was beginning to think the ole gal wasn't gonna be able to pull it off before the year was up....Out of 14 water races, 10 of those were "1st line & 1st tree" "heat" wins..Most of her gr. final losses could have been anybody's race with her loss by a nose..I am soooo glad this is over!! I don't know how many more of those near photo finish races I could stand!! LOL
