Troy, actually I bought the dog from my dad at about 1 year old. He had a good mouth and was one heck of a treedog. Was great on a medium to hot track but pulled up short too much on a bad track. He didnt have near as loud a mouth as my Rock dog so I never got fired up about hunting him like I should ( he had plenty good enough mouth, I was just looking for something to replace Rock.) I sold him to a man in Oklahoma then my dad bought him back, but the dog was just too much for my dad to handle. Then Ricky swapped my dad the Bubba dog who was more of an old man type dog, took his time on track and usually had a coon when he treed, good dog for dad. So Ricky had Buster and it was the same deal as me, dog needed more hunting than Ricky could give him. Now when I owned the buster dog the first time I sent him to Nathan Carpenters for about six months and Nathan had him doing real good and really like him. After Ricky decided to sell him I put him and Nathan together and Nathan didnt hesitate to buy him. Nathan is about as hard a hunter as I know so the dog is in great hands now. I think Nathan has had him at least 2 or 3 years now.
