my heart truely goes out to you for your loss,but remember all the great times you had,especially when he was treed alone with the coon and it was many,those memory's will never go away,jack will be talked about for many year's to come,i feel bad for the people who never got a pup from him to see what kind of dog's he reproduced

Sorry buddy, sucks! But, like my grandpa told me, "us that have them, will lose them.....relish the memories", I know I will! The breed will ultimately suffer the most! Like Seth said, at least he went out on top, just as I predicted he would make one day.....best stud dog in the last 20-30 years of the breed IMO!!!

I will never forget the first time I hunted with you and jack, dog's were cut and only went about 200 yds got struck and treed quick, all but jack I thought what the hell is going on he is supposed to be a power house,we got to the tree dog's were handled, no coon,before time was up jack was struck and treed we went to him ++++++++++++++++ those are plus point's and I had the time of my life with radar,he made a believer out of me, good luck !!!!!

Sure hated hearing this, sooner or later it happens though. Jack in my opinion is one of the greatest hounds to ever draw a breath of air. From the tailgate to the breeding pen he performed and produced greatness. Jack will always be talked about in will make hall of fame. We will turn him loose again one day....... See ya buddy

I always hate to hear of the loss of a mans hound and friend. Jack not only made you lots of friends, he made a big statement. He aint the replacing kind. The breed as a whole is better because of Jack. Let the pain be overridden by the great accomplishments you and Jack achieved. Historical hound !!!

Asa, I'm very sorry to hear of Jacks passing. Jack dogs have provided me with countless great memories over the last several years and they are continuing to do so. Jack in my opinion was one of the greatest stud dogs in the English breed. He is a true legend.
