Thanks guys. Richard we appreciate the kind words about Corey. Someday he will look back on this and realize the competition level and experience he is going against and understand what a good job he is doing. Right now he still thinks he is pleasure hunting. Win loose or draw tonight it has been a wonderful week in Indiana. We also appreciate the messages and support from our friends.

Why is everyone congratulating Bruce!!!! He hasn't won anything, what would have happened if Bruce had hunted his dog????? All he did was have enough money to furnish a dog for someone else to hunt.

Congratulate the guy who is winning; not the one who is loaded with money.

Swampplotts

This is Corey I'm the one who handled the dog. Bruce hunts with me five nights a week to get these dogs ready. Bruce has also been by my side this past week about eighteen hours a day. It's not his money but his experience and my hard work that makes it work. Without him it would not be possible to get where I did in less than a year. So yes he does need to be congratulated!

You tell em Corey. Being an owner is almost as hard work as being the handler. Sometimes the owner does all of the work and the handler just shows up to get the glory. Corey, I guess that you have "graduated" now. Way to show them that you can run with the big dogs.

Mr. Swampplots I hear what your saying. Our main project we raised from a pup and are very happy with her. We enjoy raising puppies and have a nice setup for that which hard work built. With the right breaks and Gods blessings we will keep it going. Corey knows how my Wife and I feel about him and if we can give him a chance to live a dream of Coonhunting and having fun that's great.

What would happened if he entered and hunted the dog his self. That's what I can't understand. If he is there the full time teaching you the tricks why does he need you??? Why doesn't he just handle the dog in the hunts.

To me; If a person is hearing impaired or not physically able to move freely in the woods they should quit competition hunting. If a person is completely able to hunt;but; not wise enough to win then they should lose.

I have no idea what the connection is between you and Bruce; but for some reason you are the one who competition hunts the dog instead of Bruce and for that reason, whatever it may be, you deserve full credit for the win!!!

Congrats Team Conkey,,Very happy for you all Alot of hard work.long nights and frustration involved to accomplish what yall just done ..........Swamplotts I was taught as a child if you don't have something good to say about someone then its best not to say anything at all...........I consider Team Conkey a friend and a great supporter to us coonhunters and coonhunts.I guess you think all his money was just given to him......I think if Bruce was able to handle a dog ...THE RESULT WOULD BE THE SAME....TEAM CONKEY IS A WINNER....ALWAYS HAVE BEEN...

Cory deserves a lot of credit and he is getting it along with several thousand dollars for his accomplishment. I think the most important thing is not the credit but Corey understanding the importantance of earning the respect of your competition at least that is the message I am trying to teach him.
