how would you feel

Trying to see if im over reacting or not. Heres the deal. I been trying to catch a coon for about a week down around my moms barn with no luck. Finally last night I caught one. Called my buddy said come over at 5:30 bring your pup I caught a coon. Waited all day at work anticipating the training session. Went to my moms to get the coon only to find my anti hunting sister let my coon go. I was ticked. Still am actually. I thought it was very disrespectful and not her place to touch my things just because she doesnt like hunting. What would yall have done or would you be mad or am I being a jerk about it. My buddy wasted his time and gas coming over also so that was another issue. I told my sister she owed me an apology. She flat out said she's not sorry and in fact she would do it again if she say a coon trapped. I personally think she has a screw loose. Almost feel like she is putting a rodent before her own family. Lol. As you can see Im.mad.

I agree. I wouldn't do anything that would further entice her! Look at it this way. One day, when your both old and grey, it'll make for a great and funny story!

I would handle it the same way I handle a dog with a possum, you simply administer the proper level of attitude adjustment. For a hound I prefer the TriTronics. For a sister, I'd prolly just cut a switch and flog tha piss outta her.

Then when that switch broke I'd get another thicker one that wouldn't break and continue on with the attitude adjustment.

I'D DO LIKE GRANDMA USED TO

TAKE HER OUT TO THE WOOD SHED AND LET HER PICK THE SWITCH SHE WAS GONNA TAN US WITH. BETTER PICK ONE THAT WOULD GET A WHACK OR 2 IN BEFORE IT BROKE, OR SHE'D DO THE PICKIN. THIS WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE IF THIS GENERATION HAD A WOOD SHED TO GO TO FOR A STICK PICKIN. <v> P.S. THE MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS MENTALITY HAS GONE DOWN THE TUBES WITH THIS "NEXT" GENERATION

Better be careful. If she's crazy enough. A caged Coon could get a Feller in trouble. Id set trap where she want find it.

Let me clarify. I am in no way seeking revenge. I do not hate my sister. We have not been fighting or involved my momma or daddy. I was mad she did what she did.I was just asking if yall would be mad also. She isn't crazy to the point she would call the law but she is against coon hunting cause she considers it sport killing since I don't eat coons. Its not a family fued i was just pissed. I think some of you think it was a little more than what ot was. We exchanged words in an adult way. And that was that.

Family is not a free ticket to treat each other in a way a stranger wouldn't ..

If you trapped a coon at someone's house and their daughter let it go and said she didn't agree ... you wouldn't be mad or argue , you'd respect their stand and move on .. that's what treating each other like adults means .

Same for her .. if she really thought you were an adult and a man , she wouldn't lay hands on something of yours that was at a house not belonging to her.

So you got two adults treating each other like kids at their momma's house ... and thinking they are acting grown-up , lol

Actually no. My mom owns a farm. She is the land owner. My sister lives next door. I_had permision from the land owner to trap coons cause they are tearing my moms barn up. My sisters son saw me set the trap and checked it the next day and she let the coon go without the permission of the land owner or the permission of the owner of the trap. My mother called on me to set the trap for the sake of her barn ceiling. To me its no different if I stumbled accross your trap where you had permission to trap and I turned your game loosefrom the trap. Would that make you mad?

Sister-

Ya, I would be upset at the time, However, pick your battles. It REALLY did not matter that she let it lose did it? Catch another one and give it a go with the pup.

If that's your only worries you have a good life.

I had a similar experience with my older brother.
My sister had coons getting on her porch and eating her cats feed.I set a trap and had already caught a couple.
One day she calls me and says we got another coon.I go up to get it and the coon and the trap are nowhere to be found.
I go and ask if she or someone moved it off the porch. No, not that she knew.
Now she lived on the end of a 1/2 mile private lane.My brother lived 40 yards away in her other home and rented from her.
We call him over and asked if he removed the trap and coon.He denies having any knowledge of what could happened to it.
About now I am begining to get angry that one of my nephews visiting friends stole it or whatcould have happened to my trap.
I started giving my brother and my nephew the third degree about who's been up there and all.

My brother finally fesses up he took the trap and it is in his basement.Freed the coon and how it isn't right that I am enticing the coon onto my sisters porch with the baited trap.
I told him I wasn't enticing them as they were already getting on her porch and to keep his hands off of my trap as it is none of his business what my sister and I do on HER PROPERTY.
I never thought of him as anti hunter as he deer hunted in the past so I don't know what his problem was.
