I can see twice as good with a LED. Your eyes adjust to it. Some folks say they can't.

LEDs are totally worthless in my opinion. They are good for burn time that's about it.

The biggest problem ive found with them is that a coon wont look at them even on low.

My experience has been the opposite, I have the green cats eye from Conkeys and they seem to look WAY better than with my incandescent light, whether it was the green color and they just weren't used to it or what I don't know.......

But Im one of those who's eyes just can't seem to adjust and if they don't look then I can't find em unless they are moving or something. Had one one night that I watched go up the tree and couldn't find it with my LED, just seemed to blend in with the bark.

Went back to my old light and could see em again (keep in mind I'm the last one to see the coon even with my old light, just not good at findin em like some people are) but I was at least back to normal.

I love the LED's for their burn time, light weight and the way the coons will look at em with the leaves on, but I just can't see texture/color differences with them and I struggle more than usual if they don't look.

At one time bruce Conkey or somebody was selling a led light that was yellerish orange color like a 5100 head light. Same color but with the burn time of the LED lights.

If you mean nite light's hot light I can see where youre coming from ive seen that light in action. You could get more light from a match.

Im suprised it stayed on after what happened to a buddy of mine with nite light I wouldn't touch one. He bought their 28volt belt light and before he could get it in the woods it fell apart and the head quit. He called them he sent it back and they sent it back still broke !

Lights.......

No comparison------LED lights are much better, after your eyes get used to the bright white light you will be fine. Never have to worry about blowing bulbs, burn times are unreal, the battery packs are so small and light weight......why would you not want to use one ?............Tim

Same here. I use to find coons fairly quickly. With a LED light I feel like I'm starting all over again. IT SUCKS

Wish I could find someone to fix my old lights. 2 Bright eyes 28volts and 1 coon buster.

That's exactly my experience too. It is harder to see the body of a coon hugging a limb with a LED imo... Seeing Colors just doesn't stand out as well for me. Of course I am getting older.

But LED's are handy and last.
