Hunting Judges

In my original post I tried very hard to make a problem with what thought to be an overly bias judge about me . What do you instead being able to get my point out I was told repeatly get over it and grow up. So here is my real problem .

Recently at the Ga. State hunt I honestly felt like myself and my dog were judged differently because of the breed of hound I choose to hunt. As we preparing to make our first cast it was evident that what I had on the end my leash wasnt worthy to hunt the same ground as his . During the first cast the judge was 1st an 1st with a fine man holding all 2nd during 5 I ask could we move closer for my dog wasnt treed and request denied until others spokeup. When get to tree it is maybe 10 ft tall wirh NO leaves at all . During the whole 10 mins. which he gets he repatly ask me wheres my dog . I stated hunting with 2nd which left tree the whole time his dog is treed an english do is treeing with him every breath handler is made to strike or handle dog on closed tree ( 5MINS. OR BETTER) but as soon as my dog appears in the lite I am instructed to handle my dog . This continues the entire nite wanting to minus my dog for everthing possible while others hunt .

MY POINT MORE RULE INTERPTS NEED TO GO TO CAST VOTE WHEN YOU HUNTING JUDGES WHO HAVE ONLY THEIR INYREST IN MIND

TRIED NOT GET UNDER BUS ALONE BUT YA'LL WOULDNT LET ME

Virtually every decision a hunting judge makes can go to a cast vote, every single one.

Would you question it on the card when these unfortunate calls are made, or just wait til its over and say nothing at the hunt site ? Problem is, if you could have gotten the fine folks you were hunting with to agree the judge is biased, the moh could surely have done something about it.. The groups that put on these hunts need to know these things, but the problem here isn't with a hunting judge, but maybe just simply with the judge itself. Hunting judges have worked very well and will continue to work well in the future. If problems arrive, it is better taken care of at the start of the hunt, than to wait until its over, and no one ever know there was a problem until after the event and read it here.

According to Paul Frederick the dog must be handled or scratched . The guy knew what he was doing . This cant even be questioned . When according to judge a dog comes in after tree is closed out he must be handled

When a guide says the dogs are on posted land you must call time out , handle dogs and leave there is no vote. UKC says you must follow state laws. No ? no vote. This happens alot in my area with patch woods. Dogs get were they can't be from time to time.

The rule under a hunting judge is very simple, it takes a majority to call time out.. There are no exceptions to that rule. Not for roads not for posted land, not for nothing. There are no exceptions to that rule.

I think your problem is a lack of understanding of the rules and the way they are interpreted.
You are the typical guy that feels cheated because of not knowing the rules.
ANYTIME a hunting judge makes a call you have a right to ask for a cast vote.
ANYTIME you dont agree with the outcome of the vote you can place a question on the card to have the dispute settled by the MOH.
The time you have spent on here complaining about how yo were judged wold have been well spent reading the rules and a copy of the advisor.

Maybe you should contact ukc and tell them they have the rule wrong . My goal which is unreachable is to put less absolute power in the judges hands and more up to cast vote . Your rite I should know the rules better but at some point as a point of interest we all take a stand for what we believe to be rite . Also you have the rite not to read any post or respond to any post on this site . WHY DOES EVERYBODY TODAY COMPLAIN ABOUT ANY OPINION THAT'S NOT THEIR OWN . I DO APOLOGIZE TO THOSE WHO ARE OFFEND BY ATTEMPT TO INJECT AN LITTLE INSIGHT ON A MATTER THAT HAS HAPPEN BEFORE ME AND WILL HAPPEN AGAIN AS LONG WE REMAIN WITH OUR HEAD IN THE SAND . THIS USED TO BE A GENTLEMENS SPORT AND BY SOME REAPONSES ON HERE AND FROM THE ONE BEFORE THIS IT REMINDS WHY I STOPPED COMP HUNTING FOR SO LONG . IT USED TO BE A GOOD TIME NOT ONE JERK TRYING TO OUT DO ANOTHER JERK .

MY OPINION

UKC doesn't have the rule wrong, you do. Once again, you can ask for a cast vote on any call that a hunting judge makes. The only catch is you must ask for this vote immediately after the hunting judge makes his/her call.

According to many as well as paul frederick when tree is closed and you are told to handle your dog you must or be scratch . But all of you still miss the point its about insuring hunting judges dont push own agenda .I could care less what the rule was . This guy constantly looked for reason to minus me . We had a 3-4 cast vote to circle a nasty viney tree he made alone and this guy continue to shine shake and try to talk the other two into changing their vote .

ONCE AGAIN FOR EVERYOBE WHO HAS BECOME CONFUSED ITS ABOUT HUNTING AND WHAT NEEDS TO BE UP FOR VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
