Looking For The Brightest Cordless Light

Who makes a bright cordless light, with a tight beam and a more of a flood side beam.

Caplight

Look in the Vendors section on here,Plenty to choose from. I reccomend the SunSpot but havent seen every light out there either. It is quite a bit brighter than the LEMS. I have one of each.

I would sell my LEMS for $125 plus shipping...Maybe 4 months old and used a half dozen times.....Pm if your interested.

Laser Torch Pro is brighter than any cap light or Belt light. This is an awsome light.

the Laser Torch Pro is bright. If I was buying one, that's what I'd spend my cash on.

I like some of the LED cap lights and I hate the thought of going back to a belt light, but the LED cap lights I've seen aren't in the same league as some of the LED belt lights I've hunted with.
Some of the LED cap lights can be plenty of light for the average hunter at a decent value but I know the LED cap light I have isn't enough light at times and some of the newer ones I've seen aren't a $100 better than the one I'm currently running.
I'm in the market for a light upgrade but the LED cap lights I've seen in action are not interesting me enough to justify spending more money on another light.

When it comes to lights and brightness. I believe it when i see it. I been burned too many times. I have a $40 stanley LED spotlight I bought at walmart that is brighter than the predator light I have and also brighter than the 21 volt bright eyes 5100 light I used to own. I don't like carrying that thing in the woods but until I actually see something with my own eyes that lives up to all this hype i keep hearing I aint changing.

I have a Blazer 21 with the Kelley G2 led hed. Side by side, the Laser Torch Pro is a good bit brighter than the belt light.

A month ago I had my wish list narrowed down to 3 lights including the Laser Torch Pro, about 3 weeks ago I hunted with a guy that had one. I didn't feel it was $100 better than the Smart Light I'm running now. I was surprised at how unimpressed I was with it. I expected more and from what I seen out of it, it is not what I'm looking for. I'd like to see another one in action though, but unless my second impression is better, I'm going to pass on it.

I have heard there is some inconsistency between the laser torch pros but mine is brighter than the 21 volt belt lights of my buddies and my back up valley creek mini pro.

I bought a Laser Torch Pro at the _KC World Hunt. That week I had the opportunity to compare it to every caplight, LED Head, belt light, and old style 5100 head light known. I didn't see anyone with a light as bright as the Laser Pro, and all had a MUCH larger battery pack. I don't know how they get such brighteness off one LED and such a long burn time out of a battery smaller than a pack of cigarettes but they did it.

Since buying it I've hunting as many as 6 nights straight without charging it with no noticeable difference in brightness. It's been dropped, dunked in water etc. so far, so good. I know of 5 other real every night coonhunters who have purchased one as well and not one has had a bad thing to say about this light. Its not the only LED light I have own but it is the first caplight I've every bought. It's brighter than my 5 LED head plugged into a 21v belt battery pack.

I don't mean to step on anyones toes but I can tell you this, the Laser Pro is a game changer when it comes to coonhunting lights everyone else will have to go back to the drawing board.

I have seen three laser Pro one is mine. I have a valley creek mini pro, and a 21 volt K light with G2 head and a G2 cap light. I will invite any of you to come hunt with any of these lights and there is no comparison between the lights. The Laser Pro is the brightest and handiest to use. I have hunted with guys with the Laser II, older smart light, I have hunted with many other type of lights in night hunts and you cant buy my Laser Pro but the others above is for sale.

If you want BRIGHT look at the Sun Spot. I just looked at them on the vendor thread. It is by far the brightest I have seen.

I use that same setup. The Predator is very easy on an old guy for about 95% and the led cordless spot takes care of the other 5% .
I've heard that the Predator " could be " adjusted for more brightness on the high setting and still be good for 2 hours on high. That would do it fine for me but I haven't really looked into it.

Chris S and mleck,
thanks for your posts. I don't mean to downgrade the Laser Torch Pro. I've read nothing but good about that light on this forum. All I was saying is that after hearing such positive reviews I was really expecting a better performance from it. I hunted with the guy that had it for a couple hours. It seems like a decent enough light, as is the Smart Light when the leaves are off and the trees aren't too tall. But I didn't feel it was $100+ better than the $150 Smart Light.
Maybe that guy had a bad one or something. Not sure, but it didn't compare to the White Lightning heads I've seen in action all last summer and spring with the leaves on.
We ran into another fella that same night using a Predator II. We sat there on the tailgate flipping the lights from high to low and shining into trees. Laser Torch Pro was definately better than the others.
I'm hesitant to purchase a new LED cap light until I see one in action.
If I were to order one today, it would probably be the SunSpot or the Boss from Conkey but again I haven't seen either in action.
