nothing but den trees and brush piles. Every track now is a LONG, OLD, COLD, BAD track. And allways ends up in a den tree. He never turns around and goes back the other way. Strikes a cold track and never ever really warms it up. Cold trails for half a mile or more than that and takes 30 minutes or an hour to get there and then allways trees a den tree. Aint actually SEEN a coon in about 5 or 6 hunts. Starts to tree 5 or 6 different times on the way in yonder. Super wishy washy. The further the track goes the more trees he hits up on. Even locates good sometimes. Just quits it, mops it all over the woods, and ends up on a den. Every night now is the same song and dance. Its' getting old and has me worried.
i think the problem is the coon are feeding in the day time.. cold tracks and tapping trees.. try changing your hunting habits and start hunting different area.. the coon are smarting up to you. coon are like deer, if the deer get pressured they'll get nocturnal.. if coon get pressured they start feeding in the daylight.
