The N.C. state water race is this Sat. Aug. 6th @ Richmond County Coon Hunters Club near Rockingham, N.C. For $10.00 you can buy a chance to win a aluminum dog box with top storage. Only 52 chance will be sold. There will be an all day raffle for door prizes. Full set of trophies and dog food awarded. And a kids bench show.

Overall State Water Race winners receive $50.00 each

The kitchen will be open all day so load up the family and come on out. A good time will be had by all.

THIS is a good event,the guys&gals work hard at Richmond Co.CHA NC, to put on this event,you to Steve.So if ya got a good show or swim hound make the trip down, I plan on being there to watch Chance defend his title from 2010,if Chris and family can make it.It is something certianly worth watching.

The walker (Patty) won the water race my English dog GRWCH, FCH,CH, Southern Blue Bell finished second and a Redbone owned by Mr. Morris from South Carolina finished 3rd. I had a good time and enjoyed all the good sportsmanship that was displayed, hats off to the Richmond County guys they did a fine job as always. Including Shorty!!!
