Well, good thing Rollin Rock hunts good, cause he threw me duds for puppies. And I have heard of Casper but that was from you and someone else on here. Never seen him take the big shows but I could be wrong. And how is it that you have Buck in present list and rooster in past list. Both are still alive and well but niether compete.

First of all there is a female in my pics.


Second, I just saw Rooster at Jimmy Cofields not long ago. He looked healthy but atheritis was clearly keeping him from jumping around. I believe Virginia Swamprooster was a better cooner. So, when did Rooster go to N.C.???? And why?? Not to breed because he is sterile.

1st how long is not longago? we have had rooster at the house for a wile now. i dont rember right off the top of my head how long we hav had him.
2nd he is 13 years old but he look's good for a dog his age.plus you seen him one day or maybe more. i see him every day i did not say he jumps all the time i said some times i think he could go hunting by the way he act's .
3rd va swamprooster maybe a better dog i never hunted with him. so could not tell you 7 i would not try to take any thing away from another man's dog.i'm sure he was a coon dog by what i have heard of him.
4th i think we have had him back abot a year now or close to it. becouse Jimmy health was gitting to him & morris & him decited that it would be best for him to be in n.c. & i would like to say that morris is greatful for what Jimmy has done for Rooster Morris & the english breed.
& least but not last ROOSTER IS NOT STERIL!!!
HE CAN BE BREED TO BUT WE ONLY CHOSE TO BREED SELECT FEMALE'S WE HAVE PUPP'S LESS THAN A 1 1/2 OLD OUT OF HIM NOW. HE MAY NOT CATCH AS MANY FEMALE'S AS HE HAS IN THE PAST BUT HE CAN STILL HAVE PUP'S.
ROOSTER IS & WAS A GOOD STUD DOG I THINK IN MY MIND. YOU MR STYLE DO NOT HAFT TO BREED TO HIM OR FEED HIM. UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE I KNOW THERE ARE SOME BETTER STUD DOG'S OUT THERE & I FOR ONE WOULD BE THE FIRST IN LINE TO GET A PUPPY OFF OF A NICE COONDOG NO MATTER WHAT HIS BREEDING IS.

I hunted with both Va. Rooster and Michigan Rooster.Believe me Va. Rooster wasn't the dog that Michigan Rooster is.Hunted with Va. Rooster in the U K C world Semi finals and guess what?Sucked hind tit and Scratch for Fighting.The handler said I didn't think I would ever get caught.

I never said that I did not like Swamprooster. I think he is one of the best studs out there but that is not how I perceived the question. Best Cast means best cooners not best studs!!!
I only said he was sterile because Jimmy said he was. He told me one time that Rooster had missed the last 14 females. The only reason I met Jimmy was so I could breed to Rooster. I have hunted with alot of good hounds out of rooster(more his grandpups than his pups). But I will have to stay with my first comment-Va. rooster was a better cooner than mi. rooster.

So chill out. This is just my opinion. I'm not trying to rewrite the Gospel!!!!!!

I guess it has been a year or better since I was at Jimmy's. And I do think Rooster looks good for his age but how come no one ever had those warts on his side removed. Is it a wart or a tumor?

Casper is a mighty fine hound too Style. GRCH,GRWCH,GRFCH,GRNITECH. He's gota have something going.
We're trying out some of that blood now. This guy we have is a pretty fine dog so far. We should have a brother to him next week. I have realy high expectations for the stock so I hope it's as good as I think it is.
